The Liliana dress is lovely 😍

wizzywig · 29/05/2018 13:46

Hello hello. Just re-discovered the hush website. Have they revamped their range?

Laska5772 · 29/05/2018 13:50

None of it on JL as far as I can see either. Shame . I might have tried the Hayley if it was but still really fed up with Hush refund times

ilovecherries · 29/05/2018 14:27

I like the ombré maxi, but I don't like it to the tune of £80. I thought the maxis were expensive anyway, but that just feels too much for a holiday item(which no doubt means I will end up buying it!). The bay dress is lovely, love the colours, but as Laska says, no use if you require scaffolding. So for the moment, I'm def happy to pass on the new stuff.

Ellapaella · 29/05/2018 16:46

So my order arrived. Please give me thoughts on cropped trousers which I love, but... I have a pair of floral trousers from last summer. Are the Hush pair ‘different’ enough or sufficiently nicer to justify a second pair of floral trousers? I’d completely forgotten about this old pair until today. Here they both are dressed up and dressed down.

The old pair obviously need a good iron

Ellapaella · 29/05/2018 16:49

Dave I like that dress but I agree that as you say it's very similar to the portabello. I think a bit of a tan would be needed to carry off the pale pink as it's quite washed out but it is a lovely dress.

GinandGingerBeer · 29/05/2018 16:56

Ooh Ella. They do look good, particularly like how you've dressed them up.
I think your other pair are lovely too but maybe more casual.
So you could keep hush for heels and the others for casual?
Mine have arrived, along with the twist back dress but I've not tried them on yet.

Ellapaella · 29/05/2018 16:59

I think I'll be keeping them as they are a bit brighter and I prefer the slimmer fit. I actually have to send these back as they went on offer the next day so I reordered them for the cheaper price!

ilovecherries · 29/05/2018 17:02

Ella, are you the Hush model? I hint it's the first time I've seen the clothes look as amazing on a real person as they do in the catalogue!

Ellapaella · 29/05/2018 17:09

Ha ha I wish cherries - thank you for the compliment but I have to say the clothes do the work for me, I honestly find Hush clothes are cut perfectly for me, no other shop is as consistent in thins that I feel happy and confident in. Part of that is that nothing is very close fit or clingy - I have the usual mum tum and post section apron and I hate clingy clothes, Hush clothes are very good at skimming over those undesirable bits!

DavetheCat2001 · 29/05/2018 17:21

Have to concur with cherry..you do look fab in everything you've posted ella!

Those cropped floral trousers look great, really versatile too for casual or dressy.

I know what you mean about the pink dress. I'd have to slap on the St T, but it is a style I like...

OH would kill me though...

Ellapaella · 29/05/2018 17:52

But Dave you have a recent refund.. Grin
Gin let us know how you get on with your purchases

Laska5772 · 29/05/2018 17:53

Nothing in the new styles for me either .. Disappointed but quite relieved . I will look for the Hayley dress in the sale.. (which should be around 26rd June btw according to the last couple of years )

Dave I think the style of the pink dress would suit you but do you wear much pink? Does it suit your colouring do you think?

Ella those trousers look great. on you ( both pairs do ) only you know if you should keep the Hush ones I would

neveradullmoment99 · 29/05/2018 18:04

Ella, the Hush ones are nicer. I would definitely keep them. They have a slimmer shape and they are an adorable colour and print Grin

Ellapaella · 29/05/2018 18:05

Thanks all, I am keeping them, also the fact I will be getting the £35 pair makes it all the more palatable.

DavetheCat2001 · 29/05/2018 18:06

ella that money had to go back into the b/account..we are a bit skint this month (wonder why??!!)

Thanks laska..I'm not sure to be honest. I'm thinking it's more of a young 'un's colour and I'm a bit old for it. I'm pale but do use a gradual tanner in the summer to take the glare off a bit Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 29/05/2018 18:10

I quite like some of the new hush things esp the maxi dress [the bay dress] with the thin straps. I would buy it and just wear it with a normal bra but it would have to be a nice one. I cant stand strapless ones. The thing is, I really love the print of things like the blue shorts but I do think were I come from I don't get enough of summer here to buy these very summery almost beachy things. I have worn my shorts all week as it has been really sunny and warm but its a rarity. Although I go on holiday to France this year, Its only for a week and I could easily just wear a t-shirt and shorts. I am going to hang out for the sale. I don't go until mid July anyway.

@Ellapaella you look amazing in everything you post! What inside leg are you? Although I am 5ft 6 my legs are 34" so I struggle to by trousers unless they are in a longer length.

Been at work all day so not actually seen the new stuff yet. Will enjoy looking later over a glass of wine!

miffy2 · 29/05/2018 18:24

I like the Liliana and Hayley dresses but like others, might hang on for a sale or at least a discount.
I have also decided to send back the cropped harems - the Small fit fine on the waist but are quite narrow down the leg and have a bit of a knicker-bocker look to them. So of all I bought I will keep the Portobello dress and I think the star jeans, as they are a bit different to the norm.

Laska5772 · 29/05/2018 18:43

Last year I bought a couple of things (the blue/white tie-dye kaftan for example ) that they released at this time of the season to take on holiday , only to see them in the sale when I was there Angry. I have a 'new' maxi dress from last summer (bought when i was in Greece !) that I am taking this year.

BTW I have decided to keep the kaftan rather than ebay it.. it will go with me again this year.
