I’m in the navy VBD and still wondering if I should size down on the other one. The waist just keeps sliding down my bum till the top is fully extended and the dress touches my knees.

@ilovecherries your Venice beach dress sounds a bit big. My elastic definitely couldn't fall down over my bum!

I am wearing my Hush denim skirt today and found some shoes like @Ellapaella recommend in Primark today. Only problem is they are starting to crease at the front between my toes and the point. Wondering about stuffing them with loo roll!

I love the hush look, but will never look like anyone in the catalogues! Is the look achievable for someone older and less slender?! I love the leopard print maxi skirt, but concerned on me it will just look frumpy!

Thegirlisnotright there are a few of us here who are probably past our prime and not as svelte as we once were so hop on board.

redtulip, love that skirt on you. Is it the pencil skirt, and if so what is the sizing like?

Thegirlisnotright I am late 40's and wear a lot of Hush. It is, like many brands, about finding what suits you from the range.

I have to admit, when the new stuff came on sale last month I jumped and ordered the leopard maxi skirt...but then I cancelled my order straight away as one or two people mentioned the quality (seen in John Lewis) was not great. Then after seeing it on Laksa and reading other reviews here I went and pre-ordered it again. Kind of regretting being so quick to cancel. Oh well, I will have a new skirt to look forward to in July :)

@miffy2 skirt is the raw edge mini.

I am mud 40's and sometimes wonder whether I am too old for some of the clothes but I figure my teenage daughters will tell me if I start dressing too young!!

I like Hush as no one else around here seems to wear it where as I can spot people in joules and white stuff a mile off.

Thanks, redtulip. Unfortunately I think the mini would be a lot shorter on me (certainly if the black version is anything to go by). I might stick one in my next order just to see!

I've stuck the VBD in the wash, and will see what size it comes out, but I was definitely hoicking it up all day today.

I have the denim pencil skirt, miffy. It hits just above the knee on me at 5'7. I tried the mini but just felt it was too short for me, certainly without tights. I would say it's generous sizing.

That seems so odd cherries do you think it is mis-sized? I would love a VBD but really needed the skirt to be the L and the top to be M. The ones I tried the think the skirt was far too revealing on me .. except the Haze in M which was perfect but didn't like the colour .

If its still no good and you are thinking of selling it after , id be interested to try it it might be one that is ok on me

I’m wearing last year’s pale boyfriend jeans and wishing I’d bought a smaller size too. They are 14 and have stretched a bit so they are quite baggy. Still v comfy though. I wear them with the Enda turned up in one big turn-up and have birken-alike sandals and an ancient Esprit T that has ruffles on the neckline and is one of my favourites. It’s 17 degrees here in Dublin and due to be a cracker of a day.

There is some new summer stuff on there today!

Morning! OMG I disappear for a week or so and lots to catch up with! I’m about to board Eurostar for París and wearing Fitzgerald jacket with Hush blue scarf, otherwise slim navy Boden trousers/navy spot silk shirt from last year and my orange pointy flats which are so comfortable I never want to take them off and wish I got another pair in a different colour when in Spain last month.
Last week during my US trip took mainly Hush and it all worked beautifully and seamlessly, Monaco and printed trousers for flight out/evenings, Bryce culottes with white t and Fitzgerald, black trousers with leopard t another day, it all saved a lot of hassle and was super comfy.
Yesterday went to bank holiday market and got lots of smiles on the Que será T

I ordered the blue love jumper at 8.30am this morning

Im a size 16 and feeling sorry for myself as im having a hysterectomy next week. Im a size 16 will those pull on trousers work in that size? I fee like treating my self im a 36GG will any of the tops work for me they all look quite short in the body?

Which ones each ?. Hush sizes are on the generous side.

Each my promise to myself was that when I reached size 16 I’d have a Hush splurge - to find I could have started earlier! At a size 16, I could wear most things in a large (xl was too big), and I could wear a 14 in everything else.

I was doing so well at the gym then i had to put the membership on hold and i expect ill be laid up for 6-8 weeks. I will beable to meet friends so i want stuff i can get on without too much stretching. I did try that maxi skirt on i liked it and i have a black v neck bubble top from zara five years ago. I think it would work. Does the price justify the goods?

Hayley ombre dress nice but wondering why is so much more expensive when basically the same as the panel maxis. I suppose they are hoping the wow factor will mean no one will notice ! I may get it if goes in the sale eventually
