Here we go again... A merry whirl of things of things that smell delicious (and sometimes not).

Confused I have just logged into mine again to change something as an experiment and it’s definetly working for me? I wonder if it’s a glitch.

UnnecessaryFennel · 14/05/2018 07:10

Happy Monday all! SOTD is Maison Martin Margiela Tea Escape. Hmmm, not sure about this one. The green tea note is nice but it's really too heavy on the white flowers for me. Not a classic, but I've oversprayed so I'm going to have to get used to it today Grin

Coffeecoffeebuzzbuzzbuzz · 14/05/2018 08:46

SOTD Angel. I know this one has a lot of haters but I like the vanillary chocolate note (and I try not to overspray). I seem to be going for vanilla at the moment.

MrsGruber · 14/05/2018 09:03

SotD is the TF Mandarino di Amalfi Aqua again. Nice Herby citrus - big thyme note roughs things up a bit.

positivepineapple · 14/05/2018 09:19

Snap! Coffee

My SOTD is also Angel, Edt not Edp as I'm in work.

It is a bit of a Marmite scent but it's my first love and luckily my colleagues seem to like it. I always get positive comments when I wear it.

TheClitterati · 14/05/2018 11:22

Hi all - I haven't been on one of these threads for a while. I'm a big 4160 Tuesdays fan.

I've recently moved house and I have just unpacked my SERGE LUTENS sampler I forgot I have -wanted to tell you about it.

You get a waxy sample of many fragrances - each sample is enough for one wear. and they are amazing scents. It's a lovely way to try a bunch of very high end fragrances. I'll post a pic below.

Today I am wearing "Borneo 1834" - powdery & mysterious, floral n& patchouli.

You have to call Serge Lutens shop in Paris to order the "sample book" and it costs €8.50 - 34 samples

Still can't do it

Bugger

Sotd MG lemon

LibertyBlue · 14/05/2018 13:16

SOTD is Prada Infusions Iris Cedre, love this one on a warm day.

I’m seriously tempted by scent addict

The Serge Lutens looks great - off to website to look for it! Thanks for sharing Clitterati

TheClitterati · 14/05/2018 13:34

It's a mixed blessing LibertyBlue

I'm adoring the scent I am trialing today - Borneo 1834 - but at €190 for 75mls I'll probably never actually own a bottle.

Still it is developing beautifully - its rather hot jungle like ATM. And it's lovely to wonder what tomorrow will bring?

mrsreynolds · 14/05/2018 14:13

I've e mailed scent addict twice...mo reply :(

lasttimeround · 14/05/2018 17:52

Got a tester of twilly d'hermes today. Totally lovely spicy start not overwhelming tuberose later. Gorgeous

Coffeecoffeebuzzbuzzbuzz · 14/05/2018 18:06

lasttimearound I enjoyed my tester of Twilly. I’d love a bottle- I really like the lid and little scarf it has!

MrsLucas · 14/05/2018 18:29

That is rather tempting Clitterati - have always wanted to smell Borneo 1834.

I think it's good, at least for a bit, Blue. Although still afflicted by the same the glitch as MrsR.

TheClitterati · 14/05/2018 22:43

I can still smell the sample on me after a full day - so the tiny bit of solid perfume goes a long way. Now I'm lusting after a bottle on Borneo 1834 @ €190, and I didn't even know it existed in the world this morning.

UnnecessaryFennel · 15/05/2018 07:17

SOTD is LADDM. I've given up on light, citrussy 'summer' scents already.

mrsreynolds · 15/05/2018 08:48

How do you scent addict??

Coffeecoffeebuzzbuzzbuzz · 15/05/2018 11:14

SOTD Tom Ford Neroli Portofino- very summery for a lovely sunny day. It is the first of my Scent Addict scents and is a lovely citrusy mediterranean fragrance with a herbal undertone.

mrsreynolds · 15/05/2018 11:15

I've cancelled scent addict as they are very unhelpful and the website is poor
Grr
Sotd MG lemon
My 4160 bhodi language has arrived but I haven't had chance to smell it yet...
Hope you are all out enjoying the sun x

Motoko · 15/05/2018 11:34

The webchat with Sarah McCartney has been confirmed. It will be on Thursday 24th May at 9pm.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 15/05/2018 11:38

oh no! that's right when i've just flown out to the states! never mind, i'm sure you'll all have fun doing it Smile

can't decide on a scent for today, i just don't know what i want. Also have to decide what to take on holiday, i'm thinking samples and smaller bottles for maximum choice!!

LibertyBlue · 15/05/2018 13:36

SOTD Miller Harris Noix de Tubereuse

positivepineapple · 15/05/2018 14:08

I'm stuck in archive hell, in a hot basement and there's spiders.

SOTD is Ange au demon - I wanted something long lasting as I knew today wasn't going to be fun. Wish I'd have picked something a bit fresher now.

MrsLucas · 15/05/2018 19:05

You sound like you might have been a old lag from earlier threads Clitterati?

positivepineapple · 15/05/2018 19:35

That's great news about the webchat! Thanks MrsL for getting the ball rolling on that.

What's happens with the link? How do you get into it? Do I have to use the PC or will it work with the app?

Blue Have you had your perfume party yet?
