Am on the hunt. I have found these which I love but am not paying over £100 for sandals that will last one season. I have wide feet which mean styles like varcas look weird on me. Cross over or t-bar styles work best. I like a slightly vintage feel but am open to suggestions. What gems have you got for me?

I have just bought the Dune ones too, and then I saw they had a gold version as well...

Gabor Ensign sandals - I have similar feet to the OP and these are a brilliant tan crossover style. Very very comfy, very good quality, decent styling (in my opinion).

For those of you eyeing up the Dune ones, I have them from last year in gold. They are pretty comfy and I got the normal width ones in a size up and they fit my wide feet well. The gold wears quite easily though.

I have some reiker wedges, really comfortable, love these

I got the Dune ones today, they are lovely!! Thank you for the recommendation 🤗

namastayinbed · 14/04/2018 12:53

The dune ones arrived and are keepers. Are these going to be the new mumsnet scarf?

Thebirthdayparty · 14/04/2018 17:19

Saltwaters are a strange one. They potentially have a retro vibe for slim twenty somethings. On forty plus year old me who could do with losing a stone, they make me look like an overgrown toddler and make me even more frumpy. But......on the right person they look great particularly in vibrant colours.

Oly5 · 15/04/2018 08:19

I agree! Saltwaters make me look middle aged. Fine on 20 something going to a festival

Yokono have become my new favourite. Berkies now hurt and I'm not a saltwater fan...Jake's shoes seen to a selection, I like the tan pair but nearly put the red ones in my basket

I know they’re not tan but quite neutral and they are so comfy. I also have wide feet and they work well as the front is adjustable.

I love these ones from Next, they are great for my wide feet and, living in the Middle East, I wear them constantly.

Oh I like those kiki - loads of fab colours.

SpicedGingerTea · 15/04/2018 17:26

hettie what's the sizing like on the yokono sandals? I'm usually a size 5.5 in sandals. Thanks

Bratsandtwats · 15/04/2018 17:40

£70 down now after ordering the silver Dune sandals and silver Whitestuff sandals. MN costs me a fortune!
