Day by Day M&S Beauty Calendar- No Spoilers!

Are we all ready? Stand by your beds for tomorrow! I just keep looking at mine in wonderment. It really cheered me up every day last December having something to open every morning Smile

I couldn't see another day by day thread - happy to delete mine if someone else has one.

I'm sharing the calendar with my two DDs, we've drawn numbers for the days but I'm sure there'll be some swapping ! I got day one and it will be going to tan-fan youngest. I've already decided to keep the boxes and fill them next year for DDs to share. I bought it completely on impulse when I got to the till with my mother's Xmas nightie etc presents but it looks lovely on the table.

I love the smell. It reminds me of the S&G glow lotion which I really wish wasn't discontinued.

I’ve found my people! I was excited about opening this morning. Like previous posters have said, it’s not something I’d buy but I’ll give it a try and I’m still excited for tomrw!

I was about to write this off, when my 18 year old dd insisted I wear it under my makeup?? Reluctantly I did. It made no difference, or so I thought, but when I touched up my makeup later in the day my skin looked lovely and dewy. The smell wore off very quickly. Which was a bonus too.

Mmmm looks good....I liked the face cream line filler by this brand last year.
No instructions for use though.....any ideas?

I put the body glow on my arms yesterday and couldn't see it at all.

I think I will do one leg later and see if DD can tell the difference.

I hate the smell though. It reminds me of cheap toiletries circa 1970.

AmethystMoon I googled it (did that with a lot of last year’s products too; sometimes the instructions aren’t what you’d expect!) and
a) Method: apply it to face, neck and décolletage. Leave for 15-30 mins then remove with damp cotton wool.
b) Reviews for this product are really positive! Several mention it being great even for sensitive skin or blemished skin. I’m really looking forward to using it and seeing my true beauty emerge! Grin

Yes, I’ve had to google the instructions. It was basically leave on for 15 minutes. Use daily for two weeks and then space it out. I’ve got it on now :)

I also hoped Day 1 would be hand cream and was a bit underwhelmed with the body cream.

I like Day 2 though, although it could have been bigger hard to please I will try it out this weekend and see what it does for my fairly dreadful skin.

Hi all, love the tip about applying the body glow to your face sounds will give that a go.
Currently wearing today’s mask and expecting to remove it and look 10 years younger with lovely smooth skin Grin
