Day by Day M&S Beauty Calendar- No Spoilers!

Are we all ready? Stand by your beds for tomorrow! I just keep looking at mine in wonderment. It really cheered me up every day last December having something to open every morning

Good size today and I like the smell.

Absolutely love the smell of this! Very bling and a nice way to kick off the box. However I don't see much of a colour when I apply it! Is it meant to give colour or shimmer? Can't stop sniffing my arm though

I'm in! Off to have a shower and then road test today's treat.

Surprised at how big it was! I've not had an M&S one before and wasn't expecting the box to pull all the way out, I thought it was just a square little box. I've had L Occitane calendars in the past and their products are all teeny tiny. I am loving day one!

Smells like Angel perfume and I can see a sheen on my hand where I’ve applied it.

Will be quite a useful product, especially for evenings where you have your legs on show, and they're a bit dry and pale.

Hope it's not too sparkly, though - I ruined a car seat once with sparkly body lotion that shed all over it.

Day 1 I would call "OK". I know what it's for, I will use it, I'm unlikely to buy another when it's done though.

Good pressie for the Christmas season! I actually have a night out planned for once so it'll get used then.

Not fussed on day one! The smell is a bit strong! Roll on day 2!

Also not keen on day one. Really dislike the smell. Good size though.

How am I supposed to use it? it’s just never occurred to me to have glittery legs

Not something I would have bought for myself, but having put some on my arm, like the effect and smell so will use it for my work night out in a couple of weeks! That's the great thing about these calendars - the chance to road test loads of different products! Looking forward to tomorrow now....

Not something I would use usually either, but my legs are pale so I'll give it a go. I was also impressed with the size - didn't expect the drawer to go that far back.

I like the smell, but it's way too dark for me and makes me look like I've done a bad fake tan, without any shimmer. Oh well!

I like it, but it’s more of a summer thing. Have put it on and can’t see the shimmer. Would have preferred something moisturising on winter skin.

I'm really excited about this! It's lovely to know you have a bit of warmth to your skin when you are on an evening out. I'll use it up quite quickly i think.

Have tried it on my hand & makes my skin feel soft, has a slight sheen.
Although it smells nice, it would clash with my perfume.
Impressed with the size.

Day one is, ERM, not something I would have looked at for myself. It's like the stuff my dmum used to out on whilst I was covered in full glitter as a teen

Not something I would buy but I do like it and will use it . I think the packaging is slightly 'grannyish'.

I'm quite pale so was a bit unsure when I first squirted some out to test. At first I could see a hint of colour and shimmer however an hour after application there's absolutely nothing there. No colour or shimmer. But the scent is still very strong (luckily for me I like it!). A good start. Not something I'd buy myself but a nice treat and I'll use it during December.

I like being vampire white.
I shall give mine to dsd. She seems to follow the teen trend of instabeauty. If you can see anything of your natural face you lose sort of look.

It isn't something I would have bought for myself. I might put it on my arms at an evening wedding do after Christmas, but usually I am covered up at this time of year.

I admit that I woke up feeling excited about opening it. I do most of the Christmas present buying and don't have many to open on Christmas day, and never any surprises, so I feel like this is opening a surprise Christmas present every day.
