Are we all ready? Stand by your beds for tomorrow! I just keep looking at mine in wonderment. It really cheered me up every day last December having something to open every morning Smile

I couldn't see another day by day thread - happy to delete mine if someone else has one.

So is this one like a serum under foundation.

peachypips · 05/12/2017 18:30

It is indeed made from the blood of dragons happy. They give it at special donating clinics as they understand what it is like to have scaly wrinkled skin, and while they know they can do nothing about their own problem they know that the magical properties of their blood can help us mere mortals. It’s really very kind.

Have just applied a much thicker layer of the mask in the hope that my 20yr old self will appear. Dragons’ blood tomorrow under make up.

I'm coming to this a bit late because I put the calendar away and forgot about it. Blush I've been enjoying reading all your comments. I'm going to pass on the body lotion, and I'm already trying the Rodial sculpting gel because they had an offer on the website last week, so I will keep the M&S one for my travel washbag. TBH the Nip+Fab Dragons Blood serum is just as good at plumping out the wrinkles and much cheaper, they are sister companies so I imagine the formulation is fairly similar although the texture is different.

I might try the mask tonight and will hold onto the Gatineau to try in the new year. I'm allergic to a lot of things so I find I can only try one new thing every three days or so on my face. I'm not sure about the shower oil, I'll give it a try but I like my foaming shower gel, it would be good if it helped my dry skin.

DozyDoates · 05/12/2017 19:33

Finally checking in! Today I finally had five minutes to myself and managed to get a proper shower (instead of a rushed wash while hoping the baby stayed asleep).
I did the face mask, used the shower oil, then dragons blood and face cream. I haven't had a chance to inspect my face up close yet but my skin certainly feels nice and soft.
The shimmer cream is destined to languish at the back of a drawer, and I'm not sure I'll buy any full sized ones yet unless I look 22 by Christmas.

peachypips · 05/12/2017 20:01

Glad to be of assistance. Anytime.

Theonlyoneiknow · 05/12/2017 20:24

Does the dragons blood gel get used istead of a serum and before a day/night cream? Thanks peeps

TheNoseyProject · 05/12/2017 21:56

I’m 33 and I am loving the skin care! The Gatineau is fab skin feels all soft and pillowy (in a good way). I use nip and fab dragons blood stuff and haven’t been that impressed so looking forward to seeing if this is better.

I don’t wear much makeup so this calendar is working out well for me so far!

LizzieSiddal · 05/12/2017 22:14

I put the Gatineau on about an hour ago and I really like the feel of it. I put quite a lot on though as I’m 52 so thought I’d need it😂

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 05/12/2017 22:18

TheOnly yes you use the Dragons Blood Gel as a serum under moisturiser (day &/or night) or you can use it on its own if you have oily skin.
I haven't tried it yet but will do tomorrow.

saladdays66 · 05/12/2017 22:21

Omg, I thought the dragon's blood thing was a hair sculpting gel!

YouWereRight · 05/12/2017 22:23

I spilled the bloody boxes all over today. I've had to keep the advent calendar on a bookcase next to a desk, and I'm having to get it down. This morning I showered ds2 with it. Last year's calendar was more sturdy.

But I'm happy with today's rodial stuff though.

Ponks · 05/12/2017 23:07

The Rodial face stuff smells lovely, really pleased with it. Doesn't exactly transform my face into that of a sculpted 20 yr old, but nice under my moisturizer.

Trills · 06/12/2017 01:55

No offense intended to your face but probably nothing in a tube is going to

BillStickersIsInnocent · 06/12/2017 06:04

Today’s is nice, finally something more visible....not that the skincare hasn’t transformed us all into fresh faced dewy beauties already Grin

crazymissdaisy · 06/12/2017 06:20

Ooh that is just what I was hoping for! Quite a strong shade . I like this brand for its colour saturation.

YesThisIsMe · 06/12/2017 06:51

Today’s good - just the right colour for me.

AmethystMoon · 06/12/2017 06:53

Ooh make up and I like Stila. I've used this before and it stays put. Stila have some lip sets on offer in Boots (well online I've seen them).....I may purchase Grin

Xmasbaby11 · 06/12/2017 06:58

I don't often wear lip gloss but the colour is lovely so I shall enjoy trying it out!

cardoon · 06/12/2017 07:22

Can I ask what colour the gloss is?

MelanieCheeks · 06/12/2017 07:26

My lipgloss looks like quite a nude/ peach chade. I've found Stila stuff to be quite sticky in the past, but I shall give this a go today.

I loved the dragons blood as an overnight treatment - many night creams are too heavy on my skin, and leave me hot and sweaty, but this was light and silky.

Smashpumpkin · 06/12/2017 07:36

Loving today’s! Colour seems nice and neutral too

CanIBuffalo · 06/12/2017 07:37

Nope. Mine looks awful on me.

LoniceraJaponica · 06/12/2017 07:38

I have given today's to DD. Nude lip colours make me look anaemic.

crazy did you get a different colour? The one I got was definitely not a strong colour. Just a pale washed out anaemic one. I don't see the point in these non colour lipsticks.
