FrannyandZooey · 04/04/2007 21:24

Right you were all so helpful on the other thread but the skirt has turned up and it is all wrong for me

So now I need an A line skirt in a beautiful bold print which I can wear with a black top

WHICH I CAN BUY IN A SHOP BEFORE SATURDAY

for less than £40

I'm getting traumatised by all this talk of a dress code.

The only thing I know is ok for me to wear is a big patterned skirt and a black top ...

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 05/04/2007 18:48

Shiver me timbers.

No skirt? A dress? After everything you put us through, you're wearing a dress!!

harpsichordcarrier · 05/04/2007 18:49

saggar don't get involved love
just leave it
and she ordered in online

NotQuiteCockney · 05/04/2007 18:50

DH is offering to avoid any problems with my review by offering his own review.

He suspects it will be something along the lines of: 'I am pretty sure she wore clothing.'

FrannyandZooey · 05/04/2007 18:50

Oh don't you start

I WAS TOLD, NAY ORDERED BY HC AND MRSB TO STOP LOOKING FOR SKIRTS AND BUY A DRESS

I have followed instructions for once in my life and now LOOK where it gets me

OP posts:
NadineBaggott · 05/04/2007 18:51

well thank goodness I can now remove my sunglasses

harpsichordcarrier · 05/04/2007 18:52

honestly, there were some lovely skirts there.
apart from greeny's
and hunker's

FrannyandZooey · 05/04/2007 18:52

I didn't know anywhere would do next day delivery on a Good Friday, did I?

If you had all TOLD me that places were delivering on Good Friday, well...

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 05/04/2007 18:52

I told you to buy and apron but, no, you wouldn't have it.

Actually I'm throroughly hacked off with Top Shop website. They've got a pair of sandals on the banner at the top and can I find them? Can I bugger. What's that all about FGS??

FrannyandZooey · 05/04/2007 18:53

Come on there are people out there stealing hotel soap and abusing pikey chavs

I only bought a dress

online

OP posts:
harpsichordcarrier · 05/04/2007 18:55

NadineBaggott · 05/04/2007 18:55

OP posts:
NadineBaggott · 05/04/2007 18:58

your hoover has been sick?

Gobbledigook · 05/04/2007 19:01

saggar - I saw a jacket I liked in a magazine about a month ago (Eve or Red) - it was from Oasis but I've yet to find it in the store or on the website.

There was also a white shirt in the mag supposedly from Boden but it's not on the website either.

Plus, I tried to order some stuff from the NExt summer directory today and it was bloody sold out! Sold out I tell you, IN APRIL!!!

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 05/04/2007 19:03

I want those sandals!

I might even have to go in to Top Shop - if you're over 21 and bigger than a size six they look at you all strange

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 05/04/2007 19:04

It's so frustrating GDG.

NotQuiteCockney · 05/04/2007 19:53

Nonsense! I go into topshop (and buy things!) all the time, and I am ancient and huge. Well, not really, but well over 21 and well over a size 6.

What time will shops open tomorrow, do you figure? I am off shopping in town as early as possible, with DS1 in tow (probably) ...

FrannyandZooey · 05/04/2007 19:54

I was wondering that

will it be Sunday opening hours?

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 05/04/2007 19:55

Oh yes and I am definitely ancient and shop in topshop

OP posts:
NotQuiteCockney · 05/04/2007 19:56

I'm having a hard time finding opening hours, but John Lewis Oxford Street is 10 to 6. So somewhere between Sunday hours and Saturday hours.
