Right you were all so helpful on the other thread but the skirt has turned up and it is all wrong for me

So now I need an A line skirt in a beautiful bold print which I can wear with a black top

WHICH I CAN BUY IN A SHOP BEFORE SATURDAY

for less than £40

what would worry me about hc's one is the nature of the cotton. if the pattern is printed it might look cheapo IRL.

the other skirt was just bonkers sizing, it said it was an 8 - 10 and it just ruddy wasn't at all

I HATE all my clothes, the one decent outfit, all black, nice Trousers, I wear for work so don't want to wear to BIG Event.
Nothing in the shops says buy me; if I had no budget for this I'd see a trillion things!!
Any advice? I am v blonde, funky hair, shapely (LOL!)size 16, I like to look a little funky in my 40's.

I really like some of the tops on that website (I realise this is not the point of the thread and beibg another antithesis of style have nothing to suggest on the skirt front but do like the tops ).

Find a branch that retails SANDWICH clothes. They do it every time. Bloody marvelous.

those flowery ones look like my grandma's curtains and she's been dead for years!

well they sent the wrong colour

it is too short

falls off

and has hideous lime green panels which they have cunningly hidden in the photos

well as if happens i like a smart look earthymama. red lippie, forgiving jersey knit black top, big circle skirt or a-line and good accessories, handbag, big beads, bracelet, lovely round shoes. etc etc. un petit peu lulu guinness, but less barking.
