Ok so I'm on holiday at the moment and am wearing my Fit Flops. I have worn these in for weeks and they have still given me blisters.
I am thinking of getting some Merrells. What do we think? Are they ok or are they really awful? Honest answers please. I don't want to look like a saddo. Here are the ones I am considering.

Thank you Hester, that is so nice of you! If the pics aren't clear I'm not too worried but I'm really grateful you helped me out.

Green sunnies were just from a chemist in my local town - bought them on impulse and I love them. They are Foster Grants and we're about £14.

Well I went into town today (we are away so not my town) and tried on some Birkenstocks. I just couldn't like them, and also the strap sat exactly on my blisters so they wouldn't have eased the pain!!

I almost daren't post this but I've ordered the second pair (green) but in pink. They should be waiting for me when I get back, ready for my next holiday Smile. I promise though that if they look awful I will send them back and buy something else.

I'm really grateful for all the suggestions, but if I'm honest I'm going to see what the Merrills look like first.

Thanks to all of you.

Thanks! (It was me who wanted to know about the green sunnies) - will go and google now - am so pleased they're not vintage Ray-Bans costing £200 ... Grin

Everyone saying the sandals aren't glam enough - there's NOTHING glam about plaster, blood, raw open blisters, or sitting down on a bench when you can't walk another step due to sand and sweat and sun cream in open wounds.
Personally I prefer brown leather sandals to bright colours and have some Tevas like the Merrels you bought but in brown leather - but choose what you prefer, just so long as they don't cause pain.

I've got difficult feet so am just grateful if something stays on my feet and is comfortable. Always buy sandals which offer support.

Dowser · 25/07/2017 12:22

I haven't got excited about any of the sandals shown.

Well, those of you who said no, you were right. I actually ordered both pairs in pink, got home from my holiday yesterday and tried them on. Didn't like either pair so sending them back. Went into town today and got these. Much better!! Ready for my next holiday in a few days 😂.
Lurking, I hope you found the sunglasses. I think Sainsbury's do Foster Grants. I never buy expensive ones as I always lose them.

Much better in fact, OP you are way too pretty to wear those ugly sandals no matter how confortable they could be.
