Glad there are still some peeps here...the WA is doing my phone battery in....

Blackduck · 26/05/2017 05:44

Oh can't not wear knickers - tried that - too weird... Just need to find comfy knickers.

Lovely meal here - but felt stuffed and quite unwell - probably too hot to eat really.

Cremolafoam · 26/05/2017 06:35

Another person feeling a bit sick this morning. Too hot. Awful nightmare. Whiny cat.
Hope you are ok BD.

motherinferior · 26/05/2017 07:30

I never get too hot to eat Grinbut I have bare legs today. It may not be for long.

hattymattie · 26/05/2017 07:36

BD and Crem - sorry you are feeling unwell.

DD1 had her first final yesterday - her BF was physically sick before and after. Apparently it was really nasty - people coming out crying and lots of sad faces.

BTM - I like Comptoir but in the sales. Also as a French shop it is full of black, navy, beige and white with one accent colour per season. I need nice clothes in nice colours (ie - not pastels or flourescent).

Cremolafoam · 26/05/2017 07:45

Half price on shoes at Debenhams today plus another 10% off with code KT42.
That's leather sandals for £11.25 I n my basket. Grin

Cremolafoam · 26/05/2017 07:45

Feeling fine now I have actually been sick. Always the way.

NoCureForLove · 26/05/2017 07:55

Sloggi Maxi BD. Expensive but worth it!

Stropperella · 26/05/2017 07:56

Nasty virus thing that has been building all week has gone into my chest. Woke up at 2am fighting for breath and have brought up some blood this morning. Ugh.
Up at 6am to catch a wee sample from Stroppdog as he is ailing and the vet did his bloods yesterday and requested a urine sample as well. Off to spread my germs to school later.

MsMartini · 26/05/2017 08:04

Gosh, ailing crepeys get well soon.

In sort of S and B news, I have done a Woolovers order and ordered a pair of silver sandals from Clarks Outlet. Still in hiding from the summer fashions though....

bigTillyMint · 26/05/2017 08:10

Coughing up blood Stropps?Shock Are you sure you are OK to go in?

Glad Brian got there in time Cremo and that you are feeling better. I foolishly clicked on your link and Kouros is half price - I wonder if I could get DH to use it after he shaves...

Auriga · 26/05/2017 08:13

I understand why the WA group was set up but is it still needed? I'm not comfortable with the way WA deals with contacts. I've researched this and can't find a way round.

DD off to school at 7 am dressed as Medusa for muck-up day. Hours have been spent turning the Sixth Form corridor into Wonderland 😁

Auriga · 26/05/2017 08:14

Cross-post, get well soon Stropps and Crem or I may need to report you to Sister Flowers

msmargarita · 26/05/2017 08:32

Ds off to school with prom this evening. He's wearing cropped trousers for itShock
Hattie id forgotten the lack of colour in c des c - agree. Have looked at my wardrobe though and think I can't justify in summer. Lothes. It's bulging. Will count my summer dresses (love dresses) and report back whether anyone's interested or not.

Dd can't go into school after a miserable bout of d&v in night. V upset because of pain and she's got so much to do.

Beautiful morning.

NUFC69 · 26/05/2017 08:52

Sorry to hear about all the sickness and illness. I do sometimes wonder if we are representative of the population at large because scarcely a day goes by without one, or several, people being ill. IRL I rarely hear of folk suffering like this (unless it's the big nasties).

Beautiful day again and I have to go shopping for the weekend - one guess as to what DH is doing? I noticed on the BBC weather website that it's going to be 24/25 today, but down to 15 on Monday. I just hope that it's nice for the DC on their half term break.

NUFC69 · 26/05/2017 08:58

Oh, and I am full of admiration for anyone who can buy shoes on line, my wardrobe is full of footwear which was comfortable in the shop, but painful when I actually, you know, walk in them.

Rosenspants · 26/05/2017 09:23

Coughing up blood...no way Stropps....see the Doc Flowers

Crem a friend of mine was like that...and eventually she discovered it was coffee!! She didn't feel better til she had been sick. Hope the day goes better now Flowers

I actually slept a lot better last night...when we got back from DD's Pizza Express birthday meal I opened all the windows and the sun lounge door and a lovely cool breeze swept in. Still feel unwell on this temporary HRT...there are times when I feel like I'm in labour.. Hmm Shock

motherinferior · 26/05/2017 09:30

Oh god, I hope DD1 is in a shirt that can be spared after trashing it...in all honesty all her school shirts are quite trashed already.

bigTillyMint · 26/05/2017 09:35

MI, DD is in one of DSs - I just chucked all hers when she left in Y11! First time she has had to do up buttons in 2 years (she has a phobia of buttons!)

FlipflopsOrWellieboots · 26/05/2017 11:01

I think it's quite sad that there is no special last day at ds school. They are all on study leave after half term, so I suppose today is the official last day. However, most Y 11's haven't gone in and some of them have even snuck to the beach Blush in fact, quite a lot of kids around here seem to be going to the beach today..... we all know that it will be impossible to get there tomorrow when the rest of the UK arrive!

We're off to ddad's in a minute. Chilling in his lovely garden, I may even brave a sea swim!

NUFC69 · 26/05/2017 11:30

Oh dear, Stropps, doctor sounds like a good move. Trashing shirts - ok; but when we first moved here it seemed to be tradition to go back to your old school (3 tier system here) stocked up with eggs and flour and run amok both in the school and in the village. The damage was horrendous, tbh. Things are much better now.

I have returned from shopping to discover DH still here because he couldn't get back into the house from the garden where he had been doing something to his bike prior to his ride. Twice I asked him if he had his key.....

Rosenspants · 26/05/2017 11:42

Muck up day was banned at the DSs school....they just took their flour and eggs and went to a park afterwards. Hmm. I'd rather be on a beach any day Grin Wish I was there Wellies

motherinferior · 26/05/2017 11:55

Oh hell and buggery, just as I was worried DD1 too sanguine about the whole thing she has messed up an ENGLISH paper by misreading a question.

Blackduck · 26/05/2017 12:10

MI what did she do/not do?

Here another morning of secondment braindump!!! Excessively scary! So much to get my head round.

motherinferior · 26/05/2017 12:14
