Just being curious, as I just took delivery of my new silver Superga trainers from my Amazon delivery driver I realised I'd never heard of them until a few days ago and this forum! It made me wonder what this forum has led to people buying.

So far, for me, I'd never heard of the following, but am now the proud owner of or am waiting delivery of....

Silver Superga trainers (sending back for smaller size but love them!)
White Earth Spirit Sandals (awaiting delivery)
La Roche Posay face products (love them so much I'm on my second lot!)

Anybody else want to share -so I can shamelessly steal more ideas- Blush

Claudia where are these dedicated threads??

ClaudiaNaughton · 10/05/2017 18:02

Mint you just type Zoflora into the search box and many discussions will come up. I spent way too much time on these.

Dancergirl I'm very late 40's so I hope they are appropriate and not too much like I'm trying to get down with the kids! Blush.

My third pair of silver ones came today and they are the ones I will definitely keep......my usual size 6 were too big, the 5's too small, but the
5.5's were just right as Goldilocks would say! Thank goodness for Amazon Prime and free returns!

dancer Becksondergaard are an accessories brand. I've seen their scarves for sale in the odd department store in the UK and in ASOS, though there might be other places. According to mn, they also show up occasionally in tkmaxx although not when I've ever had a rummage. I think they are nice because of simple prints, big size, neutral-ish colours, and they come in natural fabrics like cotton and wool.

I've tried Supergas on a couple of occasions, and more recently ordered some lovely reduced ones on ASOS. They are very wide and I managed to find my best size by sizing down. They have proper arch support, unlike lots of other canvas shoe type offerings. However, my feet strangely don't get on with overly supportive shoes, and after wandering around in them at home, and feeling a big arch sized lump against the sole of my foot, I had to sadly return.

Thanks utah so if I'm normally a size 4, should I get 3.5?

UtahGirl12 · 10/05/2017 19:09

I would Dancergirl. I think the general consensus is that they come up large.

Dancer - they are shoes. Putting on a pair of shoes and being able to walk in them without looking a twit is never really going to be try-hard.

Laska5772 · 10/05/2017 19:45

I have found Beck Sondergaard in Tkmaxx several times. and they have some supergas right now on thier website (and in our local shop)

Deathraystare · 11/05/2017 17:00

Primark foundation and lip crayon thingy.
Cos clothing
Clarks shoes
Kipling bags
Liz Earle skin care

PotahtoPotayto · 11/05/2017 17:48

Thanks to MN I now own 3 Stan Smiths and 2 Supergas.

sebashocked · 11/05/2017 18:07

Nivea blue tin 'creme'. Would never have dared stick it on my face had it not been for MN. Cheap as Lidl chips and is bloody brilliant as doesn't bring me out in disfiguring red, dry-yet-greasy-and-spotty rashes like just about every other moisturiser on the planet does.

n0ne · 11/05/2017 18:09

-LRP Effaclar products, which have literally transformed my skin
-Nip + Fab pads, less impressed by those
-Bras in the right size!

InapproOrNo · 11/05/2017 18:33

Fucks sake I have no willpower. I reallly want some rose gold supergas now.

Things I have bought as seen on MN:

  • Charlotte Tilbury eye pencil in Bronzed Garnet, looks fantastic with green eyes.
  • La Roche Posay Effaclar cleansing cream.

But I already used Zoflora before it became an MN thing. I'm so ahead of the curve.

InapproOrNo · 11/05/2017 18:36

Also, can I recommend the Benefit Gimme Brow? It's amazing and doesn't make you look like you have weird drawn on caterpillar brows.

Dreamqueen · 11/05/2017 19:00

M&S advent calendar
Stan Smiths
Hush
Finery
Meandem
LRP
Acne Pistols (my best find ever)
Zatchels
Proper fitting bras

I could go on and on.
