Just being curious, as I just took delivery of my new silver Superga trainers from my Amazon delivery driver I realised I'd never heard of them until a few days ago and this forum! It made me wonder what this forum has led to people buying.

So far, for me, I'd never heard of the following, but am now the proud owner of or am waiting delivery of....

Silver Superga trainers (sending back for smaller size but love them!)
White Earth Spirit Sandals (awaiting delivery)
La Roche Posay face products (love them so much I'm on my second lot!)

Anybody else want to share -so I can shamelessly steal more ideas- Blush

OP posts:

Eyeliner that doesn't budge. Can't remember the name of it.

TWOBANANAS · 08/05/2017 10:51

Yardley perfume
Sketchers

chanie44 · 08/05/2017 11:13

I've bought loads from here...

Footner (the cheaper fake one)
La Roche posay effaclar duo
Sainsburys leggings (£10 ones)
Sainsburys pjs
Lots of cheap stuff from China for Xmas presents
Hamman towel

WellTidy · 08/05/2017 11:13

New bras as a result of the measuring tips plus an understanding that I have 'shallow breasts' (nice!) - went from a 36A to a £"C or 30D depending on the style

Boden Blackberry dress - absolutely love this, have it in three colours

Micellar water - love this too. Garnier one is fine but the much more expensive Bioderma one is the bees knees

Dior glow primer - like very much too

Becksondergaard scarf - I love the one I bought from Asos, it was a hugewool/silk mix in a navy and duck egg blue print. had a generous moment and gave it to my MIL, who clearly doesn't like it as I've never seen her wearing it. I mourn the loss of that scarf.

Babyliss big hair - never come out of the box

Salt spray for my wavy hair - x 3 different ones - all useless on my hair

Any tubing mascara. My favourite is Benefit They're Real.

I am now coveting the Origins Vitazing and some Supergas. I am so easily led.

WindyWednesday · 08/05/2017 11:32

What is "tubing mascara?" and do I need it??

WellTidy · 08/05/2017 11:36

Yes Windy you definitely need it. It doesn't smudge. It coats the eyelashes individually in fibres and makes them little tubes (scientific explanation) and the mascara stays put. Estee Lauder doublewear mascara is another tubing mascara. You can buy Benefit They're Real in a miniature and decide if you like it.

Am I the only person on MN who doesn't see the appeal of Saltwater sandals!?

BuzzKillington · 08/05/2017 13:17

Me! I don't get Saltwater! They're hideous and look like they belong on a 6 year old girl in the 1970s or an 80 year old man who wears them with socks. And the 'slider' style are so fugly.

FluffyBathTowel · 08/05/2017 14:12

I'm another who doesn't like Saltwater - am nearly 40 but I think they look like something my Nan would wearBlush. I don't get the Birkenstock appeal either.

I've bought as a result of MN:
L'Occtaine Almond Shower Oil - love
BBH - thought it was OK but a bit too much time and effort on my hair type so I haven't used it in a few years.
I have a pair of silver Supergas that I've had for a few years - don't remember them being bought as a result of MN but they must've been as it's the only place that I see them mentioned Grin
Nip & Fab gycolic extreme night pads - like and I repeat buy.
Elnett volumizing hair mousse - can't deny it gives volume at the roots but it makes my scalp itch like mad so sits unused in the bathroom cupboard
Bravura dermaflannel - bought a few years ago. No idea where it is now. Too harsh for my skin.

Probably loads more. Gap bi-stretch skinnies are next on the list for when I return to work from ML

FluffyBathTowel · 08/05/2017 14:20

Oh, I've remembered one more.

Boden Breton tops- a few years ago when they were decent quality rather than the thin rags that they are now. Have navy & white and red & white.

Laska5772 · 08/05/2017 14:22

Superga fans they had lots in my local tkmaxx today (and on website) . I
went for something else as they are not really me

Thingvellir · 08/05/2017 14:41

I've just bought spin pins! Had not heard of them until this thread Grin

So many purchases thanks to MN - here's what comes immediately to mind

Rimmel liquid eyeliner (stays on all day/eve and v cheap)
Vax hoovers - I now have two (big one and cordless one, don't miss dysons one bit)
Station 11 (novel)
Boden clothing
Several pairs of bargain ugg boots
Mahabi slippers
BB cream

murphys · 08/05/2017 15:33

Its times like this I am pleased I live in another country Grin
mostly I am just jealous that I cannot get all this nice stuff

But, what is a spin pin?

Marvellousmarg · 08/05/2017 15:45

Babyliss big hair
M&s jeggings
Filflops
Bare minerals make up
Fantastic Running jacket I still wear for £19

OlennasWimple · 08/05/2017 16:18

Epistick
Babyliss Big Hair

Turkeyneck · 08/05/2017 16:20

Oh, silver Superga trainers for me too! AND I had to send them back for a smaller size too! (they were massive weren't they?!)

Turkeyneck · 08/05/2017 16:22

Also Miele anti allergy vacuum which I ADORE. And babyliss big hair here too.

Wineloffa · 08/05/2017 16:24

A Babyliss Big Hair. Best Buy ever!!

Mablethorpe · 08/05/2017 16:29

QueenofLouisiana · 08/05/2017 17:33

Am I the only person on MN who doesn't see the appeal of Saltwater sandals

Me too. If my mum bought some I'd think they looked a bit too old for her (mum is late 60s).
I love a good Birkenstock though.

MN made my buy

The Twilght series (many years ago)
Tubing mascara
Waitrose handwash & showergel
Wet brush (dd loves it)
