Just being curious, as I just took delivery of my new silver Superga trainers from my Amazon delivery driver I realised I'd never heard of them until a few days ago and this forum! It made me wonder what this forum has led to people buying.

So far, for me, I'd never heard of the following, but am now the proud owner of or am waiting delivery of....

Silver Superga trainers (sending back for smaller size but love them!)
White Earth Spirit Sandals (awaiting delivery)
La Roche Posay face products (love them so much I'm on my second lot!)

Anybody else want to share -so I can shamelessly steal more ideas- Blush

M&S super skinnies in black. I now recommend them to others.
Lakeland airer - definitely recommended on MN, but why would that have been on S&B? It does the trick when you need a wash dried overnight.
I tried to buy the tube mascara, but it was sold out everywhere. Reading this thread, I can understand why!

BUT, I loathe Hush. Cheap, nasty fabrics and high price tag.

needastrongone · 08/05/2017 19:24

Nope, Saltwater isn't for me, but I don't see the appeal of White Stuff either, which seems terribly middle aged (and I AM middle aged Grin). Boden too, apart from a few bits.

I have NO willpower, as I have ordered some Superga's in silver, which 16 y/old DD deemed cool. I'm thinking I need to try the S&G foot file too on my Boots Points!

This is a fab thread btw.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/05/2017 19:53

Which M&S skinnies are you buying that stay black? Mine have faded horribly, even the Autograph ones that at first seemed really good.

Iwantmoretimetomyself17 · 08/05/2017 20:00

I bought M&S skinny jeans jeggings and they were crap

Laska5772 · 08/05/2017 20:18

What to we think of Rose gold supergas? or Rose Gold net?..

cheapskatemum · 08/05/2017 20:34

I don't think they were Autograph, Remus, I'll have a look and get back to you with the exact name. I usually wash them inside out at 30 degrees, but if they need it I use Persil non bio liquid & wash at 40. Iwantmore when did you buy yours? I bought mine at the end of last year. From threads on S&B I understand that they used to be called jeggings, but are now called super skinnies. I bought skinnies too, the main differences are the width of the lower leg and the fact that super skinnies only have rear pockets.

SansaClegane · 08/05/2017 20:45

So far, I've bought:

  • footner
  • lots of stuff from The Ordinary
  • biker jacket
  • Primark makeup!
  • argan oil for hair

Will now have to get some Nip + Fab stuff after all the ravings about them!

Unicorn81 · 08/05/2017 20:49

healthyheart · 08/05/2017 21:03

H&M yellow large bag - not used 🙄 May gift it to my sister!
Off to look at babyliss big hair ....

ChickenVindaloo2 · 08/05/2017 22:28

Loccitane almond shower oil - vile
Pixi glow tonic - fab
Paula's choice - fab
Zoflora, obvs
Uniqlo tshirts - underwhelmed
14 breton tops
Seche vite - hated the way it peeled off my nails - gave me the creeps

MrsELM21 · 08/05/2017 22:41

Oh wow, I definitely need a Becksondergaard scarf!!

JaneJeffer · 08/05/2017 23:20

Got a lot of things which I wasn't impressed by but the one thing that's brilliant is L'Oreal Elvive mens anti-dandruff shampoo. It's the only thing that works for DS. I'm always afraid they will discontinue it now!

murphys · 09/05/2017 07:04

Jane they have discontinued that Elvive shampoo here... although it was still the blue bottle with the orange top. On the very odd occasion I find some in the strangest places, shops you wouldn't think, so I have stocked up on a few but haven't found since. I think it must have been an import. But they never did bring it out relabelled as the men's one here. Agree, it is the best anti dandruff shampoo, but the only thing I found if you use it too many washes in a row, it left that strange smell on your hair. Its odd though, as they have brought out what seems like a million other Elvives, but not that one....

They also discontinued Alberto Balsam here, and that tea tree tingle and the free me freesia were the best shampoos.

Sorry, getting distracted with shampoo now....

But something I would love after seeing it repeatedly mentioned on here, but not sure I would ever find here, is a cashmere jumper.

ihatethecold · 09/05/2017 10:20

I ended up buying reduced bedding in the Debenhams sale at 6am this morning due to the link further up.

I wasn't planning on spending £90 before i got up Blush

Mrs9C · 09/05/2017 10:25

List is too long Blush
That Italian brand hairdryer
La Roche Posay
Boden crap
Didriksons coat
Ugg boots
IPL hair remover
Hush crap
Bobbie Brown gel eyeliner
Paula's Choice face whateveritwas
Superga's
Superstars
Gazelles
Nike Roshe's

Basically everything, such a sheep Blush

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 09/05/2017 14:33

I think seche vite was the only thing (and I'm really happy with it, it's amazing and I bought some for my mum and sisters. My nails never smudge now!).

I'm a Saltwater evangelist Blush but my love of them predates MN.

CountFosco · 09/05/2017 14:58

Too much! Although if I want something I always check out the MN consensus to that covers:
most of my trainers (although I don't have Superga)
Joules Raincoat
Ruched skirt (mine's fron Kettlewell)
Hush Tara dresses (I also have some fantastic jeans from there that I love)
Zatchel's saddle bag (got it half price because of a recommendation on here, a happy day indeed)
Flexitol (my heels thank you)
Gap bistretch skinnies

I also now wear a slogan t-shirt with my Tweed jacket (thanks Floisme for that sartorial idea), and read various blogs (Bum40, Myfashionable40s, and SusieSoSo) because of you lot.

I already had a mooncup and bought a ton of Boden before I was on MN though, if anything you lot have made me buy less.

You will be to blame when I buy a pair of Saltwaters though, the only reason I haven't yet is because I desperately need a new swimsuit and bras after losing weight, thanks to MFP, also recommended on here. DH thinks I can't do anything without consulting with MN.

Dancergirl · 09/05/2017 15:12

Can someone tell me about Zoflora please?

Mrs9C · 09/05/2017 16:52

There are a few things I also owned pre MN, zoflora, moon cup, saltwater sandals, Joules harbour tops, perhaps I've influenced these threads myself Flowers

SesameSparkle · 09/05/2017 17:26

Saltwaters
Seche vite top coat
Sally Hansen Insta Dry (better than seche vite, no tourmaline and doesn't shrink my mani)
I think I might have discovered Essie nail varnish through mn
Babyliss big hair
Sea Salt stuff
Hush ruched skirt and tara
Dungarees
Leather jacket
Half cup bras
All the cosmetics I bought in the US
SLS free stuff
Curly girl method
Some crap facial hair threading type gadget
Topshop jeans
Shopping in Oasis
Konmari method (so I'm now only meant to be ordering things that will spark joy....)
I also have 2 Becksondergard scarves, although mn told me recently not to wear scarves anymore..... Confused

laramara · 09/05/2017 17:39

Just discovered the converse chucks socks from TK Maxx to wear with my trainers they're great!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/05/2017 18:37

I'm still wearing scarves if I feel that my neck needs them. Don't give a fig if MN tells me not to.

I wish Joules did Harbour tops in dark colours. They do look lovely quality, but most of them are far too light for this ex-Goth.

stumblymonkeyreturns · 09/05/2017 18:46

Nip & Fab glycolic fix pads

Babyliss big hair
