Be honest, does my hair look better before?

Hiya, definitely not fishing for compliments! I'm wanting the absolute truth. I can't get it off friends/family.

My hair has been coloured and cut (obviously!) I've had 1 probably closest to the truth from my sister who claimed that I look like I'm trying to go back in time (WRT my age!) as I now have a daughter Sad does it look like that's what I'm trying to do!?

I've obviously changed my username.

Friends/family, if you see this, I love you but need the truth!

Eh? Confused which is the before shot, the one of you lying down that's turned sideways?

Asmoto · 14/04/2017 22:40

After. In the 'before' picture, the ends of your hair look quite dry and not very shiny. It's not in any particular style - it looks perfectly OK, but not something which people would look twice at. The new cut is great - it makes you look young and dynamic; and your hair looks much thicker and shinier.

Leonard1965 · 14/04/2017 22:48

No, that's the after one. I got my hair cut Smile

Thank you Asmoto

Your new hair looks amazing. Well done for being brave. Your look before was generic, but now it's 'Pow'!!

ScarlettDarling · 14/04/2017 22:51

I like the one where you have long hair and the red scarf. You look younger and prettier with long hair I think (but both pics are lovely.)

RyanStartedTheFire · 14/04/2017 22:51

I think you looked very classically beautiful before, can't really tell from the other picture what it looks like now. Has it been edited? Your eyes seem a different colour.

NameChangeInCasePeopleRecogn · 14/04/2017 22:51

But you can't see your hair in it, it blends in with the grass.

QueenMortificado · 14/04/2017 22:53

Have you got a better "after" pic? It seems fairly odd lighting and difficult to see a true comparison with the pose

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 14/04/2017 22:53

We need to see and unfiltered picture where you don't blend into the ground.

multivac · 14/04/2017 22:54

You look about twelve in both of 'em - bless you.

TheoriginalLEM · 14/04/2017 22:56

i kniw you aren't fishing for compliments but my word you are beautiful

Leonard1965 · 14/04/2017 23:01

Lmao, I blend into the ground, that's funny. Hang on, I'll try and see if I can get a better one as it was probably filtered

Thank you all. Yeah, I might go back to the first one, but I really just felt like going for it!

I like the short hair it's really edgy!!!

Pallisers · 14/04/2017 23:06

You look lovely in both but you have the features for an edgier hairstyle - which is the second one I think. you look really fab in that photo.

Please tell me you weren't born in 1965 :)

BadTasteFlump · 15/04/2017 00:25

Well I can't really see your hairstyle in the lying down pic - but the darker, cooler toned hair colour definitely suits you much more than the lighter brown colour.

CountFosco · 15/04/2017 00:28

How can you be trying to recapture your youth with a short haircut? You look like you're still in your 20s in both photos.

Love the shorter haircut but I'm biased, I'm probably old enough to be your mother (sniff) and have a very short pixie myself, I think too many women have long hair in bad condition when they'd be much better cutting it off (of course, that needs a good hairdressers). Agree with the PP who says it looks thicker and shinier when short.

PointlessUsername · 15/04/2017 00:29

Cant make out the cut in the second photo.

But the colour is Nicer from what i can tell. 1st hair colour is a bit Flat.

Paintbox · 15/04/2017 11:13

I like the first one best but that's just because I'm not a fan of short hair in general. You can certainly pull the short style off though

pinkyredrose · 15/04/2017 11:14

The short cut looks awesome on you. Very fresh, definitely suits you!

DoItTooJulia · 15/04/2017 11:15

I've just grown out your 'after' cut. Now I'm tempted to go and have it cut back in! Looks great! Who cares what other people think? Just rock it. Smile

Trills · 15/04/2017 11:16

I like the darker hair - I'd like to see a picture of you standing up to see how much the quiff part is pouffy vs flat, but I like that style in general.

PuppyMonkey · 15/04/2017 11:16

Didn't really get the second one at first but I see now it's short and dark!? Definitely nicer darker.

user1483387154 · 15/04/2017 11:16

Love the short look

Trills · 15/04/2017 11:17

Is your sister of the opinion that once someone is a parent they no longer have their own life or own personality and should concern themselves only with their children? She sounds boring.

7to25 · 15/04/2017 11:17

I prefer the longer one. Save the short cut for your 50's
