Be honest, does my hair look better before?

Hiya, definitely not fishing for compliments! I'm wanting the absolute truth. I can't get it off friends/family.

My hair has been coloured and cut (obviously!) I've had 1 probably closest to the truth from my sister who claimed that I look like I'm trying to go back in time (WRT my age!) as I now have a daughter Sad does it look like that's what I'm trying to do!?

I've obviously changed my username.

Friends/family, if you see this, I love you but need the truth!

Be honest, does my hair look better before?

Hairdresser of 20 years here Smile
Love love love the second pic Star

Def suits you and looks a fab style and colour with your tones

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 15/04/2017 11:20

New cut looks great on you.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 15/04/2017 11:21

I think I like the second one best but you have fallen into the filter-hole so it's difficult to say!

TheBakeryQueen · 15/04/2017 11:22

It looks nice either way, genuinely.

MissTakesOurMaid · 15/04/2017 11:22

You suit the short hair style very well. You look gorgeous in both pictures but I especially love your short hair!

Go out there and rock your new look knowing you look bloody fabulous Smile

Bluntness100 · 15/04/2017 11:23

You can't really see your hair in the second photo so it's hard to tell.

Bluntness100 · 15/04/2017 11:24

And indeed your eyes have went from brown to blue...

MadisonAvenue · 15/04/2017 11:24

The short cut looks great - and I see Green Day behind you in the longer hair pic!

DayGlo · 15/04/2017 11:25

Hard to see the cut in the 'after' picture but the darker colour definitely suits you. You look beautiful!

augustusglupe · 15/04/2017 11:29

Your young anyway, so don't need to try and look younger. The darker shorter hair really suits you.
Don't let anyone try and make you old before your time... your young!! Go for it!!

user1471545174 · 15/04/2017 11:31

I like the before better. Save the short cut for your 70s. (Am in 50s and so much happier with hair).

You are far too pretty to look edgy.

ADishBestEatenCold · 15/04/2017 11:32

The 'lying in the grass' photograph is too posed to be able to see your hair properly.

I'm guessing it's the after shot, but it gives no impression at all of the way it would look if you were up and walking about.

Does the long top section not fall down or forward, when you stand?

Leonard1965 · 15/04/2017 11:36

No, it doesn't fall down there's too much product in it

My eyes definitely are not blue in the second picture and I definitely don't have brown eyes either! Grin oh well, that's the filter for you. It was mainly to show the hair really with my face.

I am going to take a better picture to show you.

Thanks for all the lovely comments Smile

Might be helpful to take an after pic which is more conventional. Confused
Just sit up and point your phone.

user1489179512 · 15/04/2017 11:39

First one is definitely better.

FurryLittleTwerp · 15/04/2017 11:41

I like the shorter style - the other looks a bit ordinary.

TheTabardOfDoom · 15/04/2017 11:45

Which do YOU prefer OP. You could have an Asda bag on yer napper and you'd look lovely. How do you get along with your
jealous sister Ummmm..... Grin

leghoul · 15/04/2017 11:46

I like the short one!

Aderyn2016 · 15/04/2017 11:46

2nd pic definitely, based on first set of photos. The darker colour brings out your features, although you do look pretty on the first one too.

innagazing · 15/04/2017 11:48

The shorter hairstyle looks fabulous! I'm not sure what 'trying to go back in time' means really, but there's nothing wrong with young and trendy and sophisticated and beautiful when you have children. If you've got it, flaunt it while you can, I say!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 15/04/2017 11:48

Did you collapse in shock when you saw your new cut? Thank goodness you landed in that grass!

I like your new cut. Smile You're not trying to look young, you are young.

myoriginal3 · 15/04/2017 11:50

I prefer the before picture

Apairofsparklingeyes · 15/04/2017 11:53

It's difficult to see your hair in the second photo but it shows off your cheekbones and bone structure beautifully.

I'd have short hair if I looked like that but sadly I an overweight, wrinkled, post menopausal old bat don't.

millsbynight · 15/04/2017 11:54

I'm also in the before camp!
