best high st moisturiser for under £12 from Boots!

have run out of liz earle and can't justify another £20 on a moisturiser this month. what is the best one I can buy for ideally under about £12 locally?
Am 47 with normal skin but lately has been prone to breakouts!

It's one pound over your budget but the soap and glory speed plump moisturiser is GREAT. I have horribly dry and sensitive skin and this works a treat, really nice base for makeup and smells lovely too.

I use [[http://www.boots.com/eucerin-oily-acne-prone-skin]] products as I get blemishes. I find their moisturiser is a good moisturiser overall, regardless of blemishes - it's not specifically for targeting spots, but it leaves the skin soft and smooth and a good base for makeup. A little goes a long way - I use the adjunctive care version as I also have very dry skin, and it lasts me at about 1.5 months.

Another vote for Eucerin. It's under £9.

I ran out of expensive moisturiser and bought nivea daily moisturiser and it's perfectly good and costs about 4 quid

Boots Time Delay day cream is pretty good for the price: £7.99 for 50ml.

Nivea in the blue tin comes up time and time again as better than any other available moisturiser.
It's apparently only equalled by Creme de la Mer at over £100 a pop.

Aveeno baby range. Best thing I've ever used on my skin.

Neutrogena comfort balm. It's less than £4 for a big pot that lasts months.

I honestly find my skin is as good when I use this as when I use proper facial moisturisers.

Time Delay is virtually the same formula as Protect and Perfect

I swear by Simple, an absolute steal (especially as it's regularly on offer!)

Another vote for simple. I was using Clinique - simple is so much nicer

Nivea (blue pot), astral or aveeno. I've tried so many others and these are the best for my dry spot prone skin.

Nivea Daily Moisturiser. About a fiver.

I have very dry skin (made worse by returning to this cold weather after years abroad) and this stuff works wonders without being greasy.

Cerave PM is excellent. Full of decent ingredients, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acids. Pump action so the fomula stays uncorrupted and germ free. The cream sinks in without a trace too and sits well under make up .

I'm currently using Simply Sensitive from Boots, was under £2 and is working better then some of the very expensive brands I've used. I'm near your age as well OP with dry but prone to chin outbreaks. A little goes a very long way as well.

i use the moisturiser from Aldi. It is just fantastice and the most expensive one is £6 !!

Astral. It's 90p for a small tub! My skin is sensitive and was put off by its thickness and smell initially, but its fab. 19yr old dd is also a convert. I'll never buy an expensive moisturiser ever again, total rip off.

I've been using L'Oréal Age Perfect, seems quite good. Also thought I'd really splash out and try an Aldi one (with Soy) and it's surprisingly really nice .

I've mainly used Estee Lauder over the years but can't stretch to that anymore.

Boots Time Delay - I use most of this range and my skin looks great for the first time in years!

I use Nivea Q10 day cream and Nivea Q10 night cream. I always buy when on offer and usually pay around £5 for each jar, I notice that some People have said Nivea in the blue tin as well. This is brill. I am well in my 50s but people always say I have beautiful skin, very clear and radiant. Nivea Q10, this is a give for me, this is my secret to beautiful,skin on a budget

Body Shop Vitamin E cream - 13 quid but always on 3 for 2. The only thing I've ever used that was better was Pro-Collagen Marine Cream for £££.
