That maths paper was the one DD1 had and is notorious.

Been to an Odissi dance performance! Working out what to do with today...

bigTillyMint · 10/01/2017 05:16

Another sleepless night - long story but DS is in hospital on a drip, etc, DH just came in after being there all night, but DS may be well enough to be discharged later.

GGG, was only joking, not wishing WinkGrin

motherinferior · 10/01/2017 05:18

Oh FUCKNUTS BTM. AngrySad

Collymollypuff · 10/01/2017 05:23

I saw you were posting at this hour, BTM, and worried about you. So sorry. Thanks You will get through this - bloody exhausting though.

xxx

How are you, Rudy?

Collymollypuff · 10/01/2017 05:56

MI, I assume you're up because of time difference? All OK?

BTM - :( bugger - fingers crossed

MontserratCaballe · 10/01/2017 06:25

Oh no, BTM, that's terrible. Fingers crossed they are getting him sorted so he can come home today. Thinking of you Flowers

Hope day 1 at the coal face was not too hideous, BD.

Sickies - mrs s, crem, Auriga - hope you have another day of r and r planned.

Cocoa, glad the memorial service went well. I expect you will be knackered for a few days as the emotional energy needed to get through is immense, so do take it easy.

Am just about to leap in the bath. It's very cold here. Fortunately I'm not seeing the punters this week so I am going to be in jeans and a big jumper Wink

motherinferior · 10/01/2017 06:25

Oh yes, it's near lunchtime here!

Feeling a bit knackered and flattened: trying to set up some meetings and reassuring myself that dossing around for a day is OK!

hattymattie · 10/01/2017 06:45

MI - dossing around for a day is perfectly fine - you are on holiday aren't you? Also if it's hot and humid - that would wipe me out.

BTM - what an awful night for you all - hope things are stable this morning. You must be exhausted. Wishing you the strength to get through the day.

Hope the ailing crepies are feeling a little better - Crem, Mrs S and Molly. Molly, you were also up very early.

Today, I should be cleaning the house, but have been invited to walk in the forest - so stuff the toilets!

motherinferior · 10/01/2017 06:56

This is the chunk of time which is supposed to be Research but I am flattened and a bit weepyBlush

Collymollypuff · 10/01/2017 06:57

I'm just worrying. I love MN for being here 24/7. You would be amazed what I read while insomniac. Tis very informative. I have a two-week rule appointment on Thursday and dh will come with me; then another on 20 Jan, which MN informs me will not be painful. Meanwhile dd goes back this weekend and ds shortly thereafter. All change again. Confused

Collymollypuff · 10/01/2017 06:58

Oh, X-post, MI. OF COURSE you are weepy. Thanks

Blackduck · 10/01/2017 06:59

Cocoa - glad things went well. I recall how totally wiped out I was following dmums memorial - that total exhaustion that is emotional as well as physical.

Monty - first day back as expected. Nothing has changed and the stupid decisions continue to be made. Tired of explaining things to people who should a. Know b. Not interfere.

MrsS, Auriga and Crem hope lots of tea and Netflix is on the cards.

bigTillyMint · 10/01/2017 07:09

Thanks lovely Crepeys! I'm OK - not worried that he's in hospital - he need more care than we can give him at home, but worried about him IYSWIM! DH says he's likely to be discharged later.

BD, KOBO - it is what it is - just do what you have to do to survive.

Molly, sorry you are worryingFlowers

MI, take your time - that's part of why you went?

Monty, hope the bath has warmed you up.

hattymattie · 10/01/2017 07:24

BTM - what is KOBO?

Molly - glad you found the advice you needed. I agree about MN being brilliant in that respect.

MI - the distance and the time out is giving you much needed time for reflection - but maybe try not to overthink and just enjoy living in the moment.

MontserratCaballe · 10/01/2017 07:34

Hatty - keep on buggering on Wink

Molly - sorry you are worrying. Usually there is someone on mn who can offer wise info. Sending you huge amounts of love xxx.

MI - I think that grief was always going to be on the cards, sadly. You have another week or so though, I think, so plenty of time to take it easy and let it out. Huge hugs.

Keep On Buggering On Grin

Which I am doing today!

motherinferior · 10/01/2017 07:59

It's odd because the weepiness isn't directly grief-related but I feel v wobbly and vulnerable. Interesting.

Kobo, innit.

hattymattie · 10/01/2017 07:59

Aah - I think that could be applicable to DH and his work situation!
