DP off sorting out priests, funerals, etc today. He was working until midnight, then up at 6.30, a pattern he's been following for a while now. He looks utterly exhausted, but I'm guessing is afraid to stop moving or he'll be overwhelmed. So of course the worst thing I could do would be to have a massive cry about the cat this morning.
I'm going to pick him up today and bring him home, to see how he does. And I've googled 'what to do if your cat dies at home'. The answer isn't 'bury it in the garden', as that's against the rules, apparently.
To cheer myself up last night I was looking for adoptable kittens. I particularly want a Maine Coon or similarly characterful and friendly pusscat, like Herbcat, but this obviously can't be guaranteed when adopting a moggy...
And I've got lots of freelance work to do, and am starting teaching a new course next week and have done nothing about it. Bottoms.
