Managed to finish up some hand cream on my feet last night. Crabtree and Evelyn rose stuff. It's not amazing hence using on feet!

More red lips today. Bourjous Matt velvet lip stain.

I have loads of toiletry gifts so probably my hoard has grown

I've received lots of lovely toiletry gifts. I'll enjoy using them over the year. One of my new year resolutions is to pamper myself a bit more.

Happy Xmas everyone - finished my advent calendar today but didn't receive any toiletries for Xmas so can continue on course for 2017! Hope you all had a lovely day

I was not able to open the last 2 days of my advent as it is at mine and I am at my mum's... so have that to look forward too plus "The Secret Garden"
Box from Lush - which my Secret Santa (brother) got me - I requested Lush products 😬

I also got some Garnier Miracle Bomb masks and a Body Shop shower gel - all I will use gladly. I do feel like I am gradually moving towards using more "natural" products though - like Lush but also stuff you can find in Holland and Barrett. I actually dyed my hair using the naturtint from there and it has come put a treat - covering my greys.

Any top tips ladies: I go to sleep with non-greasy hair - wake-up and it is like a bottle of oil has been poured on it

I am continuing with red lips: they brighten my face and lift my mood. So will do a Red January. My most worn reds this month have been Nars Jungle Red and Yves Rocher Grand Rouge Vif. I still have a couple of unworn reds

Today I picked the supremely fuss free YR Rouge Rayonnant - the most natural red I have.

And I have an empty - This Works Body Balancing moisturizer, travel size: 7/10 from my New Year list!

pinkie I would have been red till xmas but have no red lippie. maybe I should get one....!!!

Yesterday I was given more clarins for my stash -great as I don't have to replace myself!! And some molton brown Shower gels.

Am off work now till January so am going to sort through my hoard and make 2 lists. One to use by by March. And one to use up while I'm away in nz in march. I have a ton of smaller toiletries which I should save to take with me.

Finished some Superdrug BHA pads. They were okay but not amazing. I am looking to pick up some better formulated acid toners now I know they really help my flakey bits.

Almost finished a bumble and bumble city swept hair spray. This is very nice for a relaxed Alexa Chung finish but expensive for what it is. A maybe.

frustrated I love that red. Looks fabulous.

Christmas has added to the stash, a huge Soap & Glory set. M & S Florentyna set, body sprays and make up remover from the stocking, make up wipes etc! Never used Soap & Glory before and now have lots to try so hope it in OK.

Morning all. Happy Christmas for yesterday. I'm still in bed after booze Friday night, Christmas Eve party here and busy day cooking yesterday. Stomach is rumbling so may head down soon to raid the fridge.

Hope you all had a good day. My look fa tasted advent calendar finished with an illamasqua palette so will maybe play with that later on. I als got a Molton Brown set of mini shower gels and a body shop spiced apple mini set. I finished off a Body Shop mango shower gel so will go straight to the apple set as it's festive smelling.

I've been given a Burt Bees tin, Aussie hair miracle by ds, a bloom bath set?, L'occitaine hand cream, Clarins body lotion, lovely white lavender White Co shower gel and Ren skin care.

I will carry on using stuff up first before I try these. It means I won't need to buy anything in theory

Just used up a NO7 luminosity cream and Clarins sample of cleanser.

Post-Christmas face - no work this week or next week!

Belated merry Christmas. Hope you all had lovely days. I'm in bed feeling ill but trying to find energy to get up and make journey south to visit family.
Loving the red lips. Will def get mine on soon. I love that colour frustrated.
I received a molton brown set but thankfully no more hand cream and my advent calendars still have a few days left as got behind.

Also managed to use up a few things in a lovely Boxing Day bath. 3 minute miracle and Charlotte tilbury mask. Both winners. Also have had conjunctivitis so have binned 3 mascaras so looks like a Boots shop may be needed!?!
five I love soap and glory. Such great smells. em you need a red lippy! I'm wearing an amazing coral red one from Kiko. And can recommend that. Will post pic later. Also used the primer from m&s advent calendar with my lily Lolo mineral powder foundation and it looked amazing. No idea if expensive but going to try today to see if a one-off!

• Aromatherapy Associates inner strength soothing serum - not a big fan, a bit tacky and may I say I am really not a fan of AA scents and am therefore leaving behind at my mum's a rose body cream that reeks!

Another one in bed here. Struck down with a vomiting bug in the middle of the night. Both ends

Only just starting to feel a little better. Poor DH has taken all 3 kids plus his batty parents to the park for a run about while I languish in bed. There has been a lot of screeching and wailing this morning but that's the way it goes sometimes. I will make it up to DH later.

At least the PILs didn't buy me any crappy cheapo toiletries this year. Thank god. A book and some chocolate. Perfect consumables.

Thanks guys. Poor you button it's grim to be sick at xmas. But not eaten for 2 days so may have burnt off xmas excesses with no exercise required!
Hoorah to no Baylis and Harding ( my in-laws fave gift!) I don't mind but litre bottles of something you don't like is hard to get through!
DH came up trumps with jo Malone perfume so very happy to have that in my stocking!
