Yes, pretty much the same reason for buying the Kose at the time, but also since that is a sweat proof one (so more suited to the summer) with lowish alcohol and fragrance in very small amounts. We had long and lengthy discussions on SPF on the AB thread about it IIRC or I did with myself anyhow.
I've never actually sampled any of the cheaper Japanese offerings, have ordered the Shiseido Q10 version (as I will call it from now on as that's the most identifiable thing on the package and it has 2 different English names) from Amazon yesterday to see how it compares, strangely enough even cheaper on the German version. Surely my champagne tastes will prefer the Kose but I'm keeping an open mind and it should be a good contender when not the summer.
Speaking of Amazon, the jp version has recently added an extra function displaying those sellers that deliver worldwide which has opened up the market substantially (in contrast to S. Korea, the Japanese beauty export online market has always been closed off and comes with quite the price increase). I have yet to have a proper explore yet but the prices on there are very good.
Jo, in the nicest way possible, you're not the most objective person when it comes to your own skin and that's true even without the dysmorphia. Comparing it to others is never a fair strategy and I'm pretty sure you know this but it just doesn't feel like that. The only ones really qualified in that area are a dermatologist and/or mental health professional I am left wondering why you aren't under treatment as that seems like the best place for someone with the issues as you've described them.
In all honesty I don't think adding anything to your routine is wise if the likelihood is higher to cause reaction than not. I am also wondering as a complete non mental health professional how conducive it is to constantly concern yourself with it like with these threads, is it not making the obsession worse?
Think I actually some flat lowish (I wouldn't call them heels but some might) Chelsea boots at &Other Stories, Aurora. Though I personally find their footwear very uncomfortable (have high arches and like everything else about me the feet are very picky).
Dulci, dug up the review on the Mommy UV pertains to the SPF30 (now 33) but it's changed very little in formulation.
