And in my defense the Adidas were 50% off and I haven't bought any shoes this winter Xmas Wink

AuroraPolaris · 14/12/2016 21:21

Looks as if it's still there

AuroraPolaris · 14/12/2016 21:22

But careful if you start looking up stuff on Ratzilla you know you won't get much sleep tonight... and then you'll be grumpy tomorrow and you are really going to want the Acne boots....

yongnian · 14/12/2016 21:27

Bo's bespoke balms....hmmm....balmbospoke....bespokebalmbo...bobalmbespoke........
Bobalm.....

yongnian · 14/12/2016 21:28

Thanks aurora
Oh please don't get me started on shoes......I am looking for a pair that don't exist yet and a hooded cashmere cardigan that I similarly will have to design myself..

botemp · 14/12/2016 21:29

I actually saw some really fun sneakers from Puma with fun oversized laces at Vanilia, but they were way too wide unfortunately. I have the same issue with Adidas, I never really considered myself to have narrow feet but I really can't get on with those brands for whatever reason.

AuroraPolaris · 14/12/2016 21:32

I've also been looking for the right type of cardi the whole winter (bought one I returned cause it bobbled very fast) Xmas Sad and a hooded one sounds even lovelier. Which colour?

AuroraPolaris · 14/12/2016 21:35

Ahhh I have wide feet... and one femur which is slightly longer (hence all the Pilates) so have to be very very careful when buying shoes re comfort.

EnidButton · 14/12/2016 21:37

Burgundy boots sounds gorgeous. Dune had some wine coloured velvet ones that I really wanted but it rains so much that I decided against them. Maybe if they go in the sale.

AuroraPolaris · 14/12/2016 21:38

Or try in Paul Warmer in January - they have amazing trainers... but you probably know that. I've got a few very comfy ones from there bought quite cheap (like Philip Lim, that might match your bag).

AuroraPolaris · 14/12/2016 21:39

Yeah also saw some velvet ones but I think those are only for fashion editors that never walk in the rain Xmas Grin

Pupsiecola · 14/12/2016 21:46

That's really kind re the UB mask Bo. I actually looked in TK Maxx yesterday without luck. Really sweet of you to offer but please don't worry. Plus we are away for a week from next 23rd and if it doesn't go through letter box it may get lost at the PO (or go to my PM neighbour and I'd never see it again!!). Perhaps they are redesigning the packaging?

I have tried the cleansing oil (can't even remember the name of it; the one mentioned on here numerous times) and really like it. I was dreading straying from the EH balm as I really like it, but actually I am enjoying the lightness of the oil. I will use the EH balm up, and I have a travel sized one to take away, but won't RP.

I am missing drinking my usual 3 litres of water a day too. And OMG I am craving green veg. Kitchen should be more or less finished a week tomorrow. Flooring, cabinets, radiator and lighting tomorrow. Granite Tuesday. Plumber for sink and taps on Thursday (another week without sink/water/taps downstairs is almost too much to bear). Anyway, my skin is really missing the water, and the water softener.

I'm tempted to try the Shiseido SPF Bo. The Elta is okay, but I am not keen on it under make up. I will likely use it up for running/walking/make up free days/take it skiing and use on the whole family. I would like to find sth lighter. The consistency of the Neostrata one is perfect. If only they did a tint-free version too (feels too much to have that on then tinted moisturiser on top but maybe I need to get over that. Plus the Neostrata on top of my TO Vit C really irritates (not visibly, but itchy and prickly). Is it this one? I assume this is a sample size as the option buying options are 80+ quid!

I'm not very with it tonight. Really missing hubby who is away all week again. So much travel lately :-(

Bo's Bespoke Balms. Must be a BBB cream in the range surely :-)

I was telling my DH about this thread. First thing he said was " there's a business in there".

OMG imagine the mask going to pupsie's neighbor!?!? Skincare disaster on an international scale!! We will have to get the skincare police to extricate the mask from his house (but maybe they can also got hold of the keys).

So glad to hear about the progress with the kitchen and sorry you are missing DH (mine also travels a lot)... but you get to go away together soon!

AuroraPolaris · 14/12/2016 22:07

Pupsie your link leads to smg else.

This is the one I have - payed about 20€ on eBay. It's only sold in Japan.

This is the swimming/ v water proof one and similar one in silver tube is the daily one which I also used instead of moisturizer in summer.

That Gekka one is supposed to be amazing, has been on my to buy list for awhile now. The fragrance would be a gamble but I think it would be okay.

So the SPF picks

Dulcimena · 14/12/2016 22:17

I think I used to use that s/s Aurora! Smile It came in a small bottle thing though not a tube. There was also a silver version iirc. Full of cones though and a bit too drying for me (high alcohol?). Lovely textured.

yongnian · 14/12/2016 22:19

Oh pupsie please tell me your ex-PM isn't your neighbour....??!!!!
aurora preferably in grey, long ish not absolutely xpcashmere but a high % blend or alpaca or something fine....
And a pair of something like all saints italus but with a trainer foot...black...or black sheepskin lined high top....and champagne-on-beer-money budget, natch!

Dulcimena · 14/12/2016 22:20

Pupsie I looked in my local poundland today for the UB rose mask. They didnt have any UB at all but will keep an eye out for you.

yongnian · 14/12/2016 22:21

Oo bo you are good to us....

botemp · 14/12/2016 22:21

No we're confusing Pupsie with all the different Shiseido brands, Aurora uses the Anessa but that has fragrance in it I believe. The one I mentioned earlier and wanted to try out for the rosaceaecs was the one you linked on Amazon (also from Shiseido but a different line), and that size is the normal size, they can sometimes be cheaper there than on ebay but sometimes it's the other way round.

botemp · 14/12/2016 22:27

The Anessa line is a bit pricier, has some anti-ageing ingredients in there too much like the Kose one I use. Silicone free is hard to find in the Japanese offerings.

I've tried the Mommy! UV SPF33 in the past which is alcohol, fragrance, and silicone free. It is also really lightweight and cheapish and something like 93% edible (it's marketed to be used on babies and kids) but it takes quite long to dry so only really good if you have patience.

Dulcimena · 14/12/2016 22:27

Bo, I would like a product that simultaneously adds an element of structured volume /swish, but also a bit of piecey texture. I don't use cones and my hair is fine so anything too heavy is not good. The kiehls was OK but finding the balance between it "doing something" and using too much was like walking a tightrope. I'm one of those ppl for whom second day hair is the best, post wash it can be rather fluffy Confused
