For those of you who still have dusty clarisonics I suppose you could use it on your body if you have the patience
. I think the logic behind clarisonics is the same as printers, to sell you the refills/brushes! Skin wise, I think it only really 'helps' very spotty teens who have enough natural resilience to the bacterial contamination and whose can still compensate the damage caused to the skin, and the only reason it works if because they will actually use it as it seems like less effort where before it was a miracle if they remembered to use a face wipe...
Wombletor cost saving exercise mistake #1: do not exchange a high end product for an own brand product like for like thinking it must be the same like in a supermarket. If you're going down the route of affordable cosmetics you'll find it's only a handful of products and a higher % of shit products. Look into the Superdrug Vit E HCC or the Naturally Radiant HCC, those are the only two ever spoken favourable of and I'd go with Vit E over the NR one.
The Ordinary, despite it's bargainous prices, is again not a cost saving exercise as you're simply deconstructing and mixing and matching in the serum stage, TO does not make for a full routine (as much as they like to pretend). As mentioned time and time again on these threads, you really need to understand the actives and what they will do for you. The proposed routine you mention wouldn't best suit your needs, I'd be focusing on different actives (have a look at my response to JDSTER) and before even contemplating it all you need to get yourself an SPF in place.
I know CH always encourages to spend the most money on your serum, I'd say spend it on your SPF. It'll be the most effective anti-ager you can use on its own and you'll be replacing it quite often so it's something to factor in with cost. You're wearing it daily and it has to be pleasant to wear otherwise you simply won't and you won't be using enough and the entirety of your routine of actives hinges on it.
Super, it's not a question of 'believing' in double cleansing like some mythical cult, it's in response to the amount of product you're wearing. A proper SPF that's sweatproof needs a good oil cleanser to budge it, add in daily pollution (esp. if you live in a large metropolis), makeup, etc. The skin, the thing you're doing this all for, has the high chance of not being cleansed as thoroughly as it can, without it all the things you proceed to put on after it will have a tougher time penetrating and won't be as effective. As mentioned before, if I'm not wearing much and unlike with a western SPF I know specifically whether mine needs and oil cleanser or a face wash to remove, I can suffice with a single oil cleanse but that's just from experience of knowing the base line my skin should be to proceed to the next steps after cleansing and it usually means I'm acid toning after so is still sort of a double cleanse.
TO does not have a rose oil, it has a rosehip oil, two very different things. Not all rosehip oils are created equal and can cause some horrible reactions. I'd only ever safely recommend Pai's and with a bit of a disclaimer the Trilogy one.
Super, I can't say I'm much impressed by Nip+Fab's formulations so I can't say how careful you have to be with it. I would say if you're interested in glycolic as an exfoliating acid, don't buy into serums, they likely won't have a low enough pH or high enough concentration to work as such, it's just a bit rampant at the moment to slap glycolic on everything from face washes (absolutely useless, you're just washing it down the drain) and anything else they can sell you on.
What made you buy the l'occitane? It's basically a glorified Vit C product but won't perform as well as a straight up L-AA Vit C product will.
Aurora, from ebay (cosmetic love). It's my own fault, it was heaps cheaper than the rest and figured what the hell. It is a trusted seller, but they were slow to dispatch and probably chose the cheapest shipping option available.
The L'oreal dupes are the pure clay series, the INCI aren't too awful either, some fragrance in there but it's the last ingredient. I think it's more likely that they're origins dupes (which aren't all that impressive to begin with but some really like them) than glamglow but I'll keep a lookout until it's on offer somewhere, think etos might be doing a 1+1 with L'oreal at the mo but I just want one dammit.
