So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

Sorry pj78 Xmas Grin

Yes howabout it is the guile prodithingy scent.

Sorry see the night cream last night, skin looks nice and smooth this morning. Primer will have to wait until I do 'proper' make up.

AmethystMoon · 21/12/2016 09:48

Huile not guile!!

happychristmasbum · 21/12/2016 09:52

I was a bit meh about todays offering.

alotlikeChristmas16 · 21/12/2016 09:59

me too - a thimble full of primer. Better hope I don't drop any on the floor whilst applying as that's that!

Atruth If they haven't messaged me by friday i will let you know.

Dillite2 · 21/12/2016 11:11

I have no idea what to do with that peimer as I don't wear foundation.

Whilst I like that REN moisturiser, it isn't very good for the cold weather. My Kiehls balm does a much better job, so I won't be buying a full size REN.

purpleprincess24 · 21/12/2016 14:08

Am I the only one who hasn't actually tried anything yet?

I have a lovely huge pile of beauty treats now, all ready to combat the January blues.

Also didn't want to risk something not agreeing with me and having hideous skin for Christmas

Howaboutthisone · 21/12/2016 14:59

Thanks for the heads up amethyst! I've ordered myself one of those sets too.

The night cream was nice. Not wow but nice.

The primer was a really strange texture going on- starting bobbling a bit on my face. But then I let it settle before putting on foundation and it's seems to do the job. Not the best I've tried but decent enough. Agree that it's tiny though!

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 21/12/2016 15:05

They totally loaded the full-size products towards the start of the calendar so we'd be impressed early on Xmas Grin

Costacoffeeplease · 21/12/2016 15:18

I'm impressed with the eye cream, I've always found them to make puffiness worse, but the skyn one has worked amazingly - I'll definitely invest in the full size one

I haven't tried either of the peels or the timefill but I will, also the wonder balm as I already use percy&reed no oil oil after getting it in the summer beauty box. Definitely more hits than misses for me, I'm really happy with it, and for £35 you really can't complain at all

littlepinkfizz · 21/12/2016 16:26

love all the treats every morning and will miss it! Question about the sunscreen from the first week ( I think) Is it one to wear in the sun or one that you put on daily under your makeup?
I have short hair so have gifted the hair products to my 3 teenage daughters who all have long, long hair.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 21/12/2016 17:19

I've used that sun cream before on holiday but it has a really light consistency so I think very suitable for applying under make-up.

CointreauVersial · 21/12/2016 20:42

I used the suncream in California - it's excellent. You could use it for either purpose.

Another "meh" from me this morning - I've never felt the urge to try primer as I don't tend to wear foundation.

littlepinkfizz · 21/12/2016 21:12

I found the primer to be very slippery leading me to think it was silicone based. Not a fan of silicone myself .

CointreauVersial · 21/12/2016 21:38

Ugh, me neither!

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 22/12/2016 06:44

I'm pleased with today's! I like glass nail files, and this one is a great size for bags/purses.

Only two more to go Xmas Sad

MoonlightMedicine · 22/12/2016 06:54

I don't have a glass nail file today!

MelanieCheeks · 22/12/2016 07:08

Crystal nail file here too - I already have one I bought in Prague, so this will either be one for my desk drawer, or a stocking filler for someone.

AmethystMoon · 22/12/2016 07:14

I have the larger sizes of this file and they are excellent. Really pleased with this, great for traveling or handbag.
Also sad CaoNi just two days left to go Xmas Sad

FranKubelik · 22/12/2016 07:37

Have never used a crystal nail file before - looking forward to it. Surely 3 more boxes to go?

MoonlightMedicine · 22/12/2016 07:52

Oops I opened tomorrow's by mistake! I am not a fan of crystal nail files at all, set my teeth on edge.

AwkwardSquad · 22/12/2016 07:54

Yes, three more! Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Also pleased with the nail file. Can it be carried around in a make up bag safely or would it get damaged?

mowglik · 22/12/2016 08:49

Yay I'm really happy we finally got a primer and I don't usually use nail files but now I can throw out my cheap board ones and replace with this. Looks like this will be the last nail file I ever buy in my life Xmas Wink

Will try out the primer today. 3 more boxes to go, hoping for makeup and perfume now

sleighmyname · 22/12/2016 09:06

Not a fan of crystal nail files they set my teeth on edge but I'm
Sure my sis in law will be happy with it as an extra gift
