What flat ankle boots are we going to be wearing this winter, especially with skirts and dresses?

Chelsea boots make my socks get dragged down almost off my foot if I wear them with trousers.

Zara have very cheap grey boots. But my god whoever designs them hates women. I ended up weeping in the office toilet last year the pair I bought were torturing me.

I have short dumpy fat legs with strangely skinny ankles so will not be embracing thigh high!

However I have a fabulous pair of wine leather knee high cowboy boots with a chunky heel from 2005 which my wide calves fit into beautifully. Could this be the year I take them out again?!

I've just bought some tan leather ankle boots with a slight slouchy bit and a 2 inch heel from M&S. They are ridiculously comfy and I plan to wear them with everything all winter. I only went in for some tights though...!

Oh god, over the knee boots. They will make me slap my thigh and call for dandini! I want a nice comfy ankle boot, not too high a heel, I have a chest full of boots but you have to buy at least one new pair a year dontcha? It's the law

I got these a few weeks ago and they are honestly the comfiest boots I've owned in a long time. Fly London boots. Not everyone's cup of tea but they go well with jeans and dresses.

Cheeky placemark. I bought some lovely boots from primark yesterday and have had nothing but complements. I have really skinny feet and only primark seem to make shoes narrow enough 😞

Ive got Fly London boots but only wore them once. They cost me £90. Dh was not happy. Ive tried selling them but suppose they're not everyone's taste.

I will be purchasing a pair of classic black 8-hole Dr Marten boots.

I will also be wearing grey Chelsea boots from Office and black pointy ankle boots with gold studding and buckles (Aldo)
