DD says she is getting a nose-piercing today. After school, I hope! She has been saying this for about 2 years. I couldn't care less, but DH HATES them - will there be fireworks?

Rudy, I am a squat and leering gargoyle. I absolutely hate photos because they confirm this - I always check (a) how fat I'm looking (b) my jowls and bushy hair; seriously one of the reasons why I have been a bit of a goer free and easy with my affections in the past is that I am always amazed anyone is prepared to touch me, let alone enter my boudoir.

But everyone else does indeed look terrific.
