Love this from your website, Rose.

Blackduck · 11/09/2016 20:57

BTM you'd look fab in that!

bigTillyMint · 11/09/2016 20:58

Don't encourage me!

We need a big Christmas MU to give me a reason....

Rosebag · 11/09/2016 21:15

Smile Tilly the new collection is quite hippyish. I love a bit of hippy chic, me.

motherinferior · 11/09/2016 22:06

I do hippy without the chic.

Lalsy · 11/09/2016 22:13

Cor, BD, that’s gorgeous!

And MI whoopee on flights and novel.

And Stropps, an unsolicited message and tidy room on day 3, that's terrific.

Auriga, your dd sounds so lovely. And her tiddly young suitor.

Justme, I have never understood smart casual - I don’t think I am that finely calibrated. I just have casual (360 days a year) and not casual (the rest), talk about being hidden in plain sight from RL bods on this thread Smile.....the event sounds fun!

Ahem, my dongle is not up to this (no sniggering n the back row please).

Collymollypuff · 11/09/2016 22:30

I had such a great time - huge thanks to all Crepeys, but especially Crem! And WAF for my lovely gf bread roll which, like Herbs, I ate today for brekkers. Sorry there were a couple of people I didn't get to chat to...I should've moved, but I was dug in. Grin

It's Motherland, that prog supposedly based on MN, and I really liked it, in a horrified kind of way. It's had great reviews, so the pilot will hopefully lead to a series or two.

JustmeandtheChickens · 11/09/2016 22:31

I can manage smart after many years in corporate life, and I can manage weekend casual - I just find smart casual a bit trickier.

We lost our dog earlier this year and frankly I'd rather be scrabbling around in the mud at week-ends doing dog type stuff.

Collymollypuff · 11/09/2016 23:07

Justme, if you are a doglover you also have that in common with many crepeys...although cats are also a winning card. Smile

I have no idea what you should wear. Grin But other crepey suggestions sound eminently sensible.

Collymollypuff · 11/09/2016 23:08

...and sorry you lost your beloved dog. Sad

Blackduck · 12/09/2016 06:03

JustMe - I lost my DHound this year too :(. Hence much talk on Saturday of a trip to Skiathos to look at a dog - long story - half the Crepeys think I'm mad Grin

Yes Colly is right re Motherland - I thought the lead was a bit OTT but it echoed to some extent in a car crash thread on here kind of way!

BeachysSandyFlipFlops · 12/09/2016 08:15

I too am a dog and chicken Crepey, but would actually like to go to a photography exhibition too! One of my chickens has a Crepey innard and produces Crepey eggs.... The normal egg is for comparison purposes Grin

Had a lovely day yesterday, I made it in time, the sun shone and the racing was amazing.

There was shenanigans at home while we were wining and dining, so will now have to go down the traditional grounding and taking away of phones blah blah.... Exhausting...

Today, I have my first Pilates class Smile

Oh love Pilates - haven't done it on an age though....

Which chicken is responsible for that?

Shenanigans? Sounds interesting

MontserratCaballe · 12/09/2016 10:48

Sorry to hear you had shenanigans, Beachy. Hope all well now. You looked wonderfully glam at Goodwood, especially as you had been on the razz the night before.

A quick one crepeys - after the lovely supper on Saturday and bearing in mind BTM wants a new dress, can we think about our festive Crepey party? I had a quick look at the Brasseric Blanc menu here and it looks quite interesting if a bit £££. The BB at Waterloo has a private room which I have used before and they do it beautifully with candles, flowers etc. It's really very nice. Or there is Cote (lots of branches - and they have private rooms too, which I have also used). Their menu is here Cote. I think if we are a large group we are probably consigned to a set menu of some sort.

Would people like to do a Sat night in December - if so I could investigate. I know it is horribly early to think about Christmas but places book up so early, as do Crepes.

Let me know if you are interested and I will inquire. It doesn't have to be either of these of course; simply an idea Smile

Right, now to work. Laters.

Blackduck · 12/09/2016 11:00

Lovely idea MC - I am ALREADY booked for Dec 10th - don't ask....

bigTillyMint · 12/09/2016 11:02

Beachy, those eggsShockConfused
Sorry to hear you have had to confiscate phones. Probably for the best though!

Monty - you are a starStar Both look great - Cote looks very good value! I would like to do a Sat night. Or a Fri!

magimedi · 12/09/2016 11:08

I am also booked for 10th & after that will be away until mid Jan (YAY!1) - so could only do v early December. Also like the look of Cote menu - feeling peckish now.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 12/09/2016 11:13

Good advance planning Monty.
Another one here already committed on 10th. Friday in early December gets my vote... or early January when there's not much on and it's nice to have something fun to look forward to...

MontserratCaballe · 12/09/2016 11:17

Fri night may be difficult for people travelling and I think we may not be able to have lovely Rose. Sat 3rd December? I like the idea of January too though....

hattymattie · 12/09/2016 11:24

Monty - Brilliant idea for MU will peruse links later, although happy to go with the flow. Was wondering if maybe mid January may be easier as Christmas is so hectic and some socialites are already booked up. It might give us something to look forward to in the post Christmas gloom. Also MM could come.

Smileat crepey egg Beachy - hope things have calmed down at home.

Will investigate Motherland.

Collymollypuff · 12/09/2016 11:27

Sat 3rd Dec would be good for me, and Cote is lovely. January also good. Thanks for herding us, Monty. Beachy, I am aghast at your chicken's crepey innards and sincerely hope that my innards will never crepe up.

magimedi · 12/09/2016 11:35

If January I am not back until 13th!!

Will anyone else be needing to stay the night & is up for an Air B'n'B?

I dare not rely on getting home with Southern!
