Echoing everything said so far. And Hatty so lovely to meet you at last...really hope it won't be the last time either. Ear trumpets, yes...I could really only hear every third word...I'm sure I must have given some strange answers at times... Grin Blush

Crem Thank you for such a lovely MU and party. I, like Herbs am sure I didn't leave enough money in spite of your insistence, so please PM me if I need to top up. I am not at all averse to making a bigger contribution to the over all drinking bill.

I did feel a bit like grandma walking through the bar area to the loos...I'm trying to remember back to a time when it was so much fun to stand for hours on end, talking and drinking and eyeing up the talent...

motherinferior · 11/09/2016 12:09

I drank enough water not to have a pounding headache!!!!ShockShock

Cremolafoam · 11/09/2016 12:35

bigTillyMint · 11/09/2016 13:57

Yes, Herbs! Can you bring him to the next MU to see me home safely please? Grin

Had a mahoosive breakfast with Stropps which saw off any possible hangover who is now off on her mega-journey home. Think I may go and lay in the sun for a bit Smile

motherinferior · 11/09/2016 14:26

motherinferior · 11/09/2016 15:19

And BTM for the school tights!

Cremolafoam · 11/09/2016 15:34

[grin]@uniform shopping at party! Opportunists

Can see an ex of mine sitting a few rows away near the boarding gate!
I recognised his neck.Hmm #weirdstuffthatIknow

Please make him not chat to me.

Goat(!) - thankyou for this morningFlowers

Cremolafoam · 11/09/2016 15:48

MI woohoo Grin about India trip booking! Fab .

Justme, do join in. We love a lurker!

bigTillyMint · 11/09/2016 16:03

Cremo Shock re ex! Does he look old and much less attractive? Grin

MI hooray!

Have been snoozing in the sun - who'd have thought it in mid-September, and it's set to hit 30 on Tues!

Rudy - it was lovely to see you - you looked fab, even if you flet exhausted.

hattymattie · 11/09/2016 16:19

Am on RER on fine form having slept on the Eurostar and having been fed by lovely GGG's fab breakfast including wonderful scrambled eggs.

Yay on India ticket MI.

Rudy - you did fabulously and it was great to meet you.

Crem - buy a hat (cunning disguise). Sorry about the plane delay.

Have a text from DD2 - guess what? Crepes for tea!

MrsSchadenfreude · 11/09/2016 16:19

Rudy, you looked fabulous last night. Loved your dress. Glass of wine and carrot cake sounds just the antidote for exhaustion and tiredness.

I have been shopping for Hooter Holders for DD2. £100 later, we have three bras. Shock

DD1 is finishing her theatre project on pantomime, She said she never wants to read anything about pantomime again. I predictably repiied "Oh yes you do." Grin Fortunately she laughed and didn't scream.

S & B news, I had a squirt of Tom Ford' Orchid Soleil, and can report that it smells exactly like L'huile Prodigieuse/Le Parfum Prodigieux by Nuxe.

Stropperella · 11/09/2016 16:20

Thank you for inviting us to your party, Crem, aka The Biggest-Ever Crepey MU.

Wrote a huge post, but South West Trains WiFi ate it. Mwah-mwah to all crepeys. And big thanks to BTM for having me to stay. I want to run away from home and live in BTM's loft.

Another hour to go on the train.

MrsSchadenfreude · 11/09/2016 16:36

LOL at crepes for tea - have you not had enough of crepes this weekend, Hatty?

I thought the venue was brilliant, the food excellent, and the service fabulous. What a good choice. Thank you, Crem. Smile

I am facing a large pule of saucepans, plates and tupperware balanced precariously on top of the cooker, which is shouting "LOOK! I WASHED UP!" at me. Oh, and there is nothing in the house to eat. Again...

Stropperella · 11/09/2016 16:45

Well done on the tix, MI. Sounds like a great way to end the year/start the new one.

Rudy, your jacket is lovely. Hope you get the chance to take things slooowly for a while now. Love to you and your boy.

Feeling more relaxed than I have for a while. Even had an accidental lie-in this morning. That never happens (sorry I was slow, BTM).

Stropperella · 11/09/2016 16:47

MrsS Shock @ expensive bras for dd2

MrsSchadenfreude · 11/09/2016 16:49

Stropps - unfortunately she's a 32H/30J so we are really limited in where we can get them from, as most places only go up to GG cup.

Blackduck · 11/09/2016 16:52

Next time I will book a room so I don't have to dash off to catch the curfew :)
Hope everyone gets home okay (Cremo/Hatty)

Have tided my bedroom so marginally less twitchy.....

MrsSchadenfreude · 11/09/2016 17:11

Justme - hello, welcome and please do just jump right in! You and your chickens - others on here have chickens too. Some of which lay blue eggs. But sadly not golden ones. Grin

Sorry if you feel you might have been a bit ignored, we are still excited by a big meet up last night (as you probably guessed) - the biggest Crepey Convention so far. But we are friendly and welcoming, the more Crepeys the better! And I have never met a Crepey I didn't like apart from that peculiar woman who got banned from MN.

bigTillyMint · 11/09/2016 17:21

Oh yes, I remember her, MrsS Grin

Yes, do stay Justme Smile

Stropperella · 11/09/2016 17:22

I am waiting excitedly for my first blue egg from my new chickens. Got 3 new chooks and now have 5 in total.
