What's your 'everyday' lipstick shade?

I normally wear Mac Russian Red or Ruby Woo, but only for nights out. I find it too much effort during the day.

I've been after a more subtle everyday lipstick to lift my look a bit...I need to feel more polished than I do at the moment.

I know shade depends on skin tone and hair colour, but interested to see what the S&B board considers a good starting point. I'm blonde and fair.

Lipstick Queen in Frog Prince- this is a green lipstick that adjusts to your colouring to create a pink that suits you. Have tried it with lots of friends and it really does work (to the point that several friends have also bought it).

I like bright colours for daytime quite often but if I'm going for a neutral Mac Viva Glam 2 or Brave.

Either Estee Lauder Baby [[http://www.esteelauder.co.uk/product/649/13698/Product-Catalog/Makeup/Lips/Lipsticks/Pure-Color-Crystal/Lipstick]], which is a very nice basic lip pink, or I use a Strawberry Clinque Chubby if I want something a bit pinker.

Well my lipstick trip was only slightly successful. DS decided to have a crying fit in the buggy mid-MAC testing so I only checked out a couple, but I did like MAC Hue. Nice pinky nude. I'm going to go back alone and try it properly.

MUA (Superdrug) do a great shade which costs £1 I think. It was recommended by Charlotte Tilbury in her drug store make up videos. Is a really nice dusky pink colour and very natural looking.

Clinique, black honey

Mac Velvet Teddy is the most MLBB shade ever. Clinique Chubby Stick in Whole Lotta Honey is very nice too.

Darkish plum-coloured lipsticks for a "lips but not eyes" face for years, but recently found that candyfloss pink suits me really well and is a bit less goth. Yellowish-toned "white" skin, midbrown hair, blue eyes

Rimmel Kate Moss 08 which is a nice cool toned pink or Bare Minerals Pop of Passion in Nude

It's years since I tried clique black honey but I remember it to be like a glossy lip balm with barely any colour and it rubbed off instantly.

Another MAC Twig fan here. Also like the Lancome Juicy Shakers - glossy finish without the stickiness of gloss, and more or less intense according to preference. I have the Vanilla Pop, which smells good enough to eat.

Clinique cola pop a lovely burgandy put on lightly. But I've been trying to get a lipstick I can wear every day but I'm so pale it really hard to find a nature looking one

Mac - Creme in your coffee

I'm wearing rimmel birthday suit a lot at the moment. Also use rimmel Asia as an everyday colour

The one I've been wearing everyday recently is Maybelline Vivid Rose, a bright corally pink, (got it online, they didn't release it in the UK.)
Other favourites are Revlon Va Va Violet and Cherries In The Snow. I alternate between these quite a lot.
I don't wear nude or pale lipsticks very often, I find they vanish, I have pale skin, dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

Black honey Clinique

Chanel Boy. It's a very flattering pink nude.

I like Clinique Black Honey or Mac Please Me (pale pink) depending on what mood I'm in. I don't wear lipstick every day though. I also like Mac Russian Red for nights out. I'm going to investigate Burts Bees tinted lip balm now thanks to this thread

Mehr and Syrup look awful on me too - dark and dull.

I need something a bit lighter and brighter, but absolutely cannot be pale either.

I've tried so many of the shades on this thread and I'm pale, blonde, blue eyes, low contrast face and warm skim tone but prone to some redness, and most of them make me look ill!
