I think Jamie Bells ears are bigger! And DSs hair is lighter (though he is sporting a 1980s barnet!), and his jaw a teeny bit widea, but he looks a bit like him in the pics of JB aged about 18 which I am incapable of linking to

Scuppered on sundowner front as it is raining Sad Though still hot Wink However no we get to try the huge complimentary umbrellas! Not sure how we'll fit them down the street with the mad traffic/pedestrians Grin

hattymattie · 31/08/2016 17:25

Oh Rudy, strength, hugs, hand holding, positive vibes down the internet. Will be thinking of you tomorrow xx

Blackduck · 31/08/2016 17:25

Oh Rudy :(. But you know we are with you every step of the way.

BeachysSandyFlipFlops · 31/08/2016 17:28

Big thoughts for tomorrow, Rudy.

We're returning tomorrow to reclaim dogs from BD.... Think she might smuggle one home in her car. Actually think they would be happy to go, as she's given them a lovely time Flowers

Good day today, on a boat all day, only barred by dd2's absolute hatred of wasps, of which there are many, and dh's hatred of dd2 screaming and flapping.... She got stung, he told her to jump off (which she did), I then had to rescue screaming, flapping child in all my clothes Grin never quiet when those two are at war which is about 90% of the time. Oh well, this time next week, they will be back at school and routine will prevail.

Could you stop talking about curries in Margate? Am a bit sick of chicken on a stick and chips....

magimedi · 31/08/2016 17:28

Sad - Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Blackduck · 31/08/2016 17:55

Beachy are they erm similar :) ?

And I can't be blamed if one of the gets in the car of their own free will can I? (No jury would convict)

Dp will miss his (solo) early morning coffee on the coast.

It's been great.

NUFC69 · 31/08/2016 18:08

Oh, Rudy, we're all rooting for you and DS; it sounds horrendous. Take care of yourself. DD had to have several operations while she was at primary school, I know exactly how you are feeling. FlowersFlowersFlowers

florascotianew · 31/08/2016 20:35

Thining of you too, Rudy. Much sympathy.

MrsSchadenfreude · 31/08/2016 20:57

Rudy, thinking of you - have been thinking of you all day xxx

Stropperella · 31/08/2016 22:05

Rudy, will be thinking of you and your ds tomorrow. I hope all goes well.

Crem, fingers crossed for your ddad too.

CointreauVersial · 31/08/2016 22:11

Oh Rudy, so sorry he has to go through surgery. Sad Fingers (and everything else) firmly crossed for a good outcome tomorrow. You don't have to spill all, but do keep talking to us......

And thinking of Crem's DDad too. Not surprising he was snippy after how he's been treated.

Safe home, Beachy. I'm Grin at the boat trip story - I can just picture the scene.

It was the last day of the school holiday today....DM came over and dragged the DDs out of their pits to visit a local Maize Maze, and DS went off to college for his Choices Day. I think he's fiiinally plumped for college, although the formal interview to finalise his choices doesn't actually happen until Friday. Well, he's not planning to get up for school tomorrow, so that's some sort of decision, I suppose. He's currently lying on the sofa, moaning "I don't want to grow up; I want to be seven again." Don't we all?

Blackduck · 31/08/2016 22:21

CV - about 10 actually....

Cremolafoam · 31/08/2016 22:39

Oh how I'd love to be 10 BD.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind wishes for dad. You are all so kind. Rudy holding paws with you for the morning.

Collymollypuff · 01/09/2016 00:16

Thinking of you, Rudy, and your ds. And Crem's poor dad. Thanks

Blackduck · 01/09/2016 06:31

Rudy my thoughts are with you today - hoping everything goes well.

Cremo good luck to dad too.

motherinferior · 01/09/2016 06:53

I was extremely miserable at 10.

Good thoughts to Crem and to Rudy et al.

hattymattie · 01/09/2016 07:07

Rudy and Crem - thinking of you both and your loved ones xx

NUFC69 · 01/09/2016 07:09

Sending positive thoughts to Ruby and Crem.

Glorious day here and I am going to be stuck in the hairdressers having my highlights done. DH on the other hand decided last night that this morning would be an ideal time for him to go for a bike ride with PFBDGS. They do have a lovely relationship.

bigTillyMint · 01/09/2016 08:00

Rudy and Cremo, hoping all goes well today - will be thinking of you Flowers
