I think Jamie Bells ears are bigger! And DSs hair is lighter (though he is sporting a 1980s barnet!), and his jaw a teeny bit widea, but he looks a bit like him in the pics of JB aged about 18 which I am incapable of linking to

Scuppered on sundowner front as it is raining Sad Though still hot Wink However no we get to try the huge complimentary umbrellas! Not sure how we'll fit them down the street with the mad traffic/pedestrians Grin

Oh what a fucking, fucking mess.Sad

MrsSchadenfreude · 22/08/2016 23:47

What a huge fucking mess. But am on my way home alone. This has really not helped.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 22/08/2016 23:53

Are you OK Mrs S??

GiddyGiddyGoat · 22/08/2016 23:54

What's going on?? Hope you're alright.

Lalsy · 23/08/2016 01:30

MrsS, hope you are ok.

BTM, tricky. Dd's best a level module was taught by professor Umbridge from Harry Potter, who managed to put Dd off single hons in that subject but she barely dropped a mark.....weird.

BD, invisibility is definitely a thing for crepies, Tho I know I notice it more when down about other stuff. I hope you have a proper rest on holiday and get some small/large treats. Aurigas near perfect day sounded pretty good.

Six shows today. May crank it down a notch tomorrow and try to have a meal sitting at a tableSmile

Blackduck · 23/08/2016 06:21

MrsS?

I only really have to get through this morning (which is an early start) and can then head to the inlaws and sign off......

motherinferior · 23/08/2016 06:53

MrsS, will be in touch later.

I have belatedly realised I have probably got slight depression and am about to tackle this with Exercise.Smile

Blackduck · 23/08/2016 07:09

I need to tackle the fat with exercise.....

MontserratCaballe · 23/08/2016 07:22

Me too, BD. I am therefore going to skip in the back garden. No laughing at the back - it's one of them there HIIT exercises which is supposed to burn 0000s of calories for hours after you finish. Or something like that Smile. I am so slow at ladyjogging that I don't think that will work.

BD, just get through this am and then kick back. You are a superstar for keeping going Flowers

MI, sorry you are feeling the black dog nipping at your heels. It is still such early days. Take care of yourself Flowers

Mrs S - was this the competitive karaoke of which you spoke on FB? Hope you are ok this morning.

Right, skipping then piano lessons. Back later.

magimedi · 23/08/2016 08:18

I am off to the dentist - my lovely dentist has retired so it is new one.

Wibble.

Is it too early for a small gin? Dutch courage?

motherinferior · 23/08/2016 08:27

It's a little early but it is medicinal.

It's lovely out there. So I am now going to shut myself in my office.Grinstarting with my usual Hour of Narrative - I have rather a lot of paid work but suspect this will be Energising and Therapeutic, and dammit I'll be finished by 9.30....

bigTillyMint · 23/08/2016 08:28

MM, I'm going to the dentist today too - having 4 teeth (well broken teeth) out this afternoon as part of implant treatment. I am trying not to think about it.

I don't think I'm allowed alcohol before, and it's not till 3pmShock

MrsSchadenfreude · 23/08/2016 08:51

I have a really awful hangover and don't want to go into work. Ever. Ever, ever, ever. I cannot move my head because it hurts too much. And other stuff happened, and it is all too messy. I want to run away. Don't think I overly embarrassed myself though.

bigTillyMint · 23/08/2016 09:04

What did you sing?!

OP posts:
BeachysSandyFlipFlops · 23/08/2016 09:28

I think what she sang may be the least of her worries Grin

MrsSchadenfreude · 23/08/2016 09:32

Correct.

herbaceous · 23/08/2016 09:38

I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper? Last Night a DJ Saved My Life? Je Ne Regrette Rien?

Cremolafoam · 23/08/2016 09:42

Oh Mrs S. Sadis it that there were witnesses?
BD hope this morning flies by.
mI hope you've had a productive hour.
Sympathy to Crepies going near dentists today.

Weather decidedly autumnal here. Have even bought bulbs to shove into the window boxes I didn't plant up for summer this year. my second ladyrun was agony and very hard work indeed. I am hoping I was £just tired, but had to fast-walk most of it. Out again later and trying not to get worried about it. Grin

bigTillyMint · 23/08/2016 09:52

Is it bulb planting time Cremo? Trying to get my postage stamp garden under control!

Full sun here - have been out in the garden since 8.30 after a full nights sleep Smile

Cremo, you're doing better than me on lady jogging - I just don't do it! And our gym is being refurbished - went to another yesterday but the sun called me into the garden today!

OP posts:
hattymattie · 23/08/2016 09:54

My tablet is working this morning - the sun is out and we are going to try Skiddaw for the Lake District experts. It has had its peak in the clouds so far but today looks vaguely sunny and we can literally walk to the footpath from the house.

Mrs S - hope you've taken some pills - and are functioning. Awaiting full details.

NU - so happy you're enjoying Northumbria.

Rosebag · 23/08/2016 10:33

OH MRSS NOT AGAIN!!!!!!!! been a bad gurl..... ???

MI Flowers You'll be ok.

Lalsy If you're still at the Fringe the director who's dieting the Reading of my play has another piece there at the moment. PM for details if you like. I love the fringe but only been the once.

Sympathies to those dealing with AS traumas over grade and which subjects to take/drop next year...and also lousy teachers....

Hatty glad the Lakes are lovely and Shock at your adventure!! Are you coming to The Smoke at all?

Hope you get to kick back later on BD

Glad various other Crepey hols are going well, and welcome home to the returners.

Flora Sympathies re parents traumas. You're in good company here. Flowers

Gosh I can't catch up...sorry. Having a domestic day today...my cleaner is away this week and signs of neglect are become obvious. AND I have a doctors appt for review of my meds...what a bad day to see the GP about review of my HRT. I would rather die than come off of it, no really

Rosebag · 23/08/2016 10:35

Lalsy · 23/08/2016 11:06

Oooh Rose, sadly jut collected tickets for today's six (6, vi) shows. About to eat enormous breakfast to see me through. Have done fringe with little children, with teens and now just me and dh. Recommend.

MrsS....get some sleep and review the situation?

Hatty, your hol sounds lovely too.

Exercise....yep....must get back to it. Monty that is the message from my gym too - short bursts intense (ad weights/strength). I hate all cardio!
