Another empty - Boots protect and perfect hand cream. Had another one waiting for me in the stash...

Flamingoteaparty · 11/09/2016 19:19

Yes kwick, love skin food. It's great for my dry, eczema prone skin. Use it on my face at night when it's dry. Will repurchase once I've made a dent in the rest of the moisturisers!

Finished an Avon foot cream last night, but received a Glossybox yesterday. Really should cancel, but I like the surprise element every month.

FreeButtonBee · 11/09/2016 19:55

Finished an origins ginger body soufflé. Love the product but the smell was a bit overpowering. It really does moisturise for 48 hrs though. I will repurchase this in a different scent - either the lavender and vanilla - which is a bit sweet but nice for after a bath in winter - or the precipation whatever one which is as close to unscented as they get. I think this and the aromatherapy associates body oil are my perfect body moisturisers - shame I have so many to use up before I can indulge.

kwick · 12/09/2016 07:12

I have finally finished a Sanoflore Purete de Lin deoderant - will not repurchase.

kwick · 12/09/2016 07:26

Another empty!! L'occitane lip balm - was a hotel amenity. I have about a gazillion lip balms in my stash - take ages to use up as I have a different one for my handbag, work, living room, bedside table.

emilywemily · 12/09/2016 07:35

My beauty product hoard is shameful Blush although I listed a lot of it on eBay this week and have so far made £85!

dogdaydisaster · 12/09/2016 15:33

I've finished another of my 13 -the RM DNA renewal eye cream, which was a full size from a cult beauty goody bag. it was nice, but I still can't tell a good eye cream from an avergae one, they all feel the same to me. I have an elemis one to try next.

kwick · 12/09/2016 18:10

Well done emily!!!!

emilywemily · 12/09/2016 18:38

I get a glossybox and a look fantastic beauty box every month Blush

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 12/09/2016 19:01

You guys rock!
I have a Tony Moly facial wash empty which was fantastic. I avoid facial washes usually as dry/ sensitive/ rosacea skin. However this was great and great bubbles too without drying. Will have to repurchase but I'm dreadful with Korean beauty orders as tend to go a bit overboard.
Also finished a dull Elemis shower gel but neither were on my 13 list so not sure they count. I realised that I'm not enjoying my 13 really so regardless of if I finish some I'll bin which I hate doing in a weird sado-masocistic (sp?) way. Liz Earle lip pencil that's too hard and a Pixi eye shadow crayon that requires fairly brusque application. Why am I persevering?

kwick · 12/09/2016 21:26

another where do you get your korean products from?

I gave up GlossyBox and Look Fantastic a while back... I loved the surprise element but there were too many products I did not like/repetition.

dogdaydisaster · 13/09/2016 12:24

I finished up a tarte mascara primer today, was just too much faff. but it did seem to help my Two Faced mascare stay on a bit better.

I also finally finished a Dr Brandt pore No More mini primer, which was quite nice. I think I gotit from the Sephora aisle of doom by the tills. It lasted for ever. I have a few in the drawer so will use those up first.

kwick · 13/09/2016 18:41

dog are you in the UK? Where is the sephora????

HRHlikeahornyponywould · 13/09/2016 18:48

I have become a bit obsessed with collecting minis.

Last time I went on holiday to Orlando, I did twilight check in where the case was checked in, but we stayed overnight in a hotel.
Everything had to be thrown away.

So in prep for a holiday that may never be booked, I have started collecting small size beauty bits.

I have a lovely sample of Chanel exclusiv perfume, tobacco something

kwick · 13/09/2016 21:05

Welcome hrh! Please explain your name Confused

I have two empties today:

  • yves rocher almond orange blossom shower oil - liked this but also have the non-oil version which is just as nice and loads cheaper, so would not repurchase unless on offer
  • Decleor aroma solutions lip balm... I have been using this for 18 months! I really like it but seeing as I have a stash of about a gazillion lip balms, no need to currently replace. Already have a Carmex on the go. This is one of my 13 for Halloween... Yay!!!

BTW what comes after 13 for Halloween? 12 for Christmas?

emilywemily · 13/09/2016 22:16

My eBay sales are great atm - I think I will miss the buzz when I've sold them all!

Ememem84 · 13/09/2016 22:32

Oh I'm doing crap re my list.

HRHlikeahornyponywould · 13/09/2016 23:05

My name is from a prince song- alphabet street

I must admit I rarely get to empties. I've bought something else to try.
I have run out of Colgate cinnamint toothpaste, and I can't find it anywhere

I'm currently bored of my bliss soapy suds shower wash
And have shaped to le petit Marseille orange blossom shower gel, as nice and much cheaper than Liz Earle

kwick · 14/09/2016 06:50

pony where do you get le petit marseille from? I love some of their stuff but have never seen in the UK.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 14/09/2016 07:57

kwick I use eBay shops f2plus1 and roseroseshop. Both brill. Send quickly from Korea and always lots of samples which does not help stash but are good for travelling hrh. (Enabling......)
13 going slowly but yes then 12 days for/of xmas sounds good.

MotherofPearl · 14/09/2016 14:41

Well done on any empties all! I fear this thread may be having the wrong effect on me: instead of getting me to finish things in The Hoard, it's inspiring me to try all the lovely things you keep mentioning. Grin

applesandpears33 · 14/09/2016 16:16

Well, I've had mixed success. I've finished off a clinique lipstick which was a freebie in one of their gift sets. It was OK, but a little too brownish in tone for me so will not repurchase.

This morning I bought Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter and Aveeno cream for my eczema prone skin. So I'm no further forward!

IPokeBadgers · 15/09/2016 09:37

Finished a Superdrug B. Nourished Night Serum. Quite like this product for night-time, feels nice to use and sinks in well. Not sure how much of a difference it makes though....but then i wonder that about a lot of skincare! I think I have another one in the stash from a BOGOF or half price offer....

Am not doing the 13 by Halloween but am quite excited that I might, for the first time EVER, finish up an eyeliner pencil by then....

woodhill · 15/09/2016 16:07

Have used up a Garnier cleanser, not keen.

MrsDilligaf · 17/09/2016 13:52

Apples

I have had great results with Aveeno for my eczema - works a treat. My dad uses it too on his psoriasis.

I love the Baby Bottom Butter and slather it on my DD in fact that entire range from Waitrose is gorgeous. DD smells delicious and I am not adverse to using it either.
