Since starting I have used up- sample size Clinique superdefense moisturiser. Have opened another (seem to have loads of these!) sample Clinique eye cream- can't remember the name of it- (have now opened another sample of Clinique all about eyes now to use up), a full size Clinique clarifying lotion (have got a sample to use up and then will buy some sort of replacement) and an elemis body lotion. Feeling quite pleased!

woodhill · 07/09/2016 21:42

I've just used up a Clinique moisturiser.

Ememem84 · 07/09/2016 21:48

Found an almost empty bottle of conditioner busing up

Ememem84 · 07/09/2016 21:48

Using up.

kwick · 08/09/2016 07:27

Just finished a Molton Brown small bottle of Templetree bodywash. Not a big fan of scent & have not used body lotion at same rate grrrrAngry

kwick · 08/09/2016 07:56

Please accept my condolences crooked for bare minerals lippy Flowers

Welcome flaming! Is skin food any good?

Ladies: great progress!! Well done!! wish the TTC threads I am on had as many BFPs as we have used up products!

IPokeBadgers · 08/09/2016 09:33

Welcome Flamingo!

I totally mis-read your post and thought you had just received a 15 KILO delivery.....arf! Grin

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 08/09/2016 12:30

Welcome Flamingo. Hmmmm Kiko. My own personal downfall.
Out of sync shower gel/ moisturiser. My pet hate kwick although admittedly a first world problem.
I am battling with finishing summer scent shower gels before the weather starts to turn and cursing my impulsive need to buy seasonal smellies!

dogdaydisaster · 08/09/2016 15:22

Pinkie Pie I love physicians formula. Its a reasonably priced US brand, so I have stoked up when over there on holiday. I think it can be bought on eBay though, but of course it costs more. they have some lovely powders, bronzers etc.

dogdaydisaster · 08/09/2016 15:25

I also made a couple of changes to my 13 list. I have no idea what I was thinking, my lip and eyeliner are each about 4-5 inches long, so there's no way I'll get them done by Halloween. So I've made a couple of skincare substitutions -things that have been hanging around annoying me:

Bare minerals lipstick
-Tarte mascara-done
Body shop camomile cleanser
Liz Earle body lotion
RM DNA renewal eeye cream
Talika day cream
Philosophy shower gel
REN retinol night cream
Bourjois pink liquid lipstick
Elemis apricot toner
Rodial facial oil
-Light blue perfume- done
Tata Harper mini rejuvenating serum

kwick · 08/09/2016 21:30

mrs you are the bestest!!! Thank you so much for the Nivea sachets. This is perfect for me as I travel most weeks for work and often get lazy with body lotion - no excuse now Grin

kwick · 09/09/2016 07:15

I have an empty: Botanics radiance concentrate serum all bright. Ok but so many others out there to try!

FreeButtonBee · 09/09/2016 19:36

Finished a mascara - Clinique lash power - a staple. I have bought the lash power flutter to full as a replacement. Sali Hughes recommended it in the guardian and it's nice to be able to build layers of mascara up and then finish with a heavier layer. I like so far.

MotherofPearl · 09/09/2016 21:14

Can I join please? I have found my people! I have an enormous stash of 'free gift' minis (mainly Clinique and Clarins, to which I have a shameful addiction). I always think I should save them up for when they'll be properly useful (e.g. for travelling, which I do vanishingly little of!), but you're all inspiring me to crack on with using them up!

kwick · 09/09/2016 21:54

Welcome mother!!

MotherofPearl · 10/09/2016 09:28

Thanks Kwick! To begin, this morning I broke out a mini Clarins one-step exfoliating cleanser, and a mini clay mask. Pretty satisfying.

MrsDilligaf · 10/09/2016 11:03

Well I'm just back from holiday no 1.

I treated myself to a facial while I was there and got a free product....it's only now that I've realised that the free product is a full size retail product and is a Decleor Aromesence Rose Absolu. I've always wanted to try this but resisted as I have felt it would become a staple HG can't live without it.

Eeek!

This was my Freebie

applesandpears33 · 10/09/2016 11:08

Finally got an empty! It feels as though I've been finishing stuff up forever. This was a clinique lip gloss. It was a heathery colour and I liked it, but I've gone off lip glosses recently and prefer lipsticks so doubt I'll repurchase. Also thrown out a bottle of soltan sun cream. It was almost finished and was already more than two years old.

usernameinfinito · 10/09/2016 13:57

Well done everyone!
I have finished:
ELVIVE clay shampoo
ELVIVE clay conditioner
BODY SHOP jasmine 10ml perfume
Mocha 15gr face mask.
I like them all, but I won't be buying more as I have other products to finish.
I have finished 13 items since I have been posting here. I had to make my list longer, so there are now 20 new items in my list! Smile

kwick · 11/09/2016 07:58

mrs your freebie looks amazing!! Enjoy it and if it does become a staple because it actually does yhe job then I do not see the harm Grin

Well done apples!

You go girl user!!!

I am still gutted that most of the products I got from Fragrances Direct seem to have harmful silicones in them - two were Korres products for God's sake!!!!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/09/2016 09:56

Finished a couple of small showergels (Philosophy) and I really like the "Bubbly" one so I'll have to look out for a fullsize.

Bought some Charcole and Bamboo showergel (large pump bottle) for the teenagers. It's very nice but not sure its £8 nice.

DD and I looked at the NYX counter and didn't buy anything (TBH she's more into make-up than I am, but last week she treated herself to the Urban Decay 3 pallette . It's very nice though she won't let me even breathe near it Grin )

I'm going to plough through some Bodyshop cream. I meant to buy the regular VitE but bought the intensive one .

woodhill · 11/09/2016 12:57

Dd gave me a Liz Earle skin tint as she found it too moisturising. I like it so may see if she wants my Clinique cc cream which is so drying on me.

Also used mini marvel scrub and organic highlight shampoo tipped up as lid didn't close so bye bye, didn't rate it.

Making an effort with beauty routine to use up products such as face mask twice a week

kwick · 11/09/2016 19:13

I love doing home "facials" - if I could I would do everty day but I settle for once a week.
