Welcome laundry!!!

I thought you were brunette too frustrated Confused

I think decanting is fine if same product laundry... otherwise not sure what could happen Hmm

Thank you mrs and frustrated Grin so I put Chanel Illusion d'ombre in ilusiore all over lid, then a brown from a chanel travel pallete in the crease and then no7 bronze cream eyeshadow on half of lid - from inner eye.

another what did you use?

So I have another empty & it is one off my 12 by Christmas list!!!

  • My trusty little sunflower cream - not too keen on smell and does take an age to sink in but quite moisturising - was using on hands and itchiness on legs and arms.
AnotherPinkiePieStory · 06/11/2016 22:44

Oops I replied without updating phone and missed all the rest of posts!
Welcome new faces. So nice to have new folk to share product love!

until I start YouTubeing Hmm here's my products mrs: I used a green Kiko longwear stick eyeshadow crayon that I had bought 4 of, all over my eyelid. I binned 2 neutrals as they were rubbish (10) although this dark green was fab and I will be trying it as an eyeliner as suggested frustrated. I then used Kiko eyeshadow and kajal pen (3, golden brown and turquoise) in sparkly sea green around my eye closer to lashes and the brown in crease. Blended it in with highlighter fluid under my brow. Then I stuck on gold glitter in the middle of my eyelid an lots of black mascara. Felt great!
Your turn to post the artistic handy work mrs

Loving the sparkle kwick and you have great brows!
trundle I too have a scentless Miranda soap that is just getting soggy but no smaller.
laundry whatever gets through em! Together we can do it!

mowglik · 07/11/2016 00:35

Wow some smoking eye looks on here - unfortunately I'm freshly scrubbed and sallow now, I had a nice subtle eyeshadow combo on earlier, I don't really do full on eye shadow anymore so have started just swiping on eyeshadows in the middle of the eye to get a sheen and smoking out the corners. I really like your bold eye pinkie I do miss being able to carry off those looks!

I have a couple off my Xmas list, finally finished the cetaphil cleanser and also cussons bump and me shampoo my sister offloaded gave me. Also chucked a tresemme volume powder I won't use and have decided to go through my makeup and chuck out all my smelly mac lipglosses and lipsticks makeup this week. Onwards and upwards!

kwick · 07/11/2016 07:34

Reporting two empties here - count as one off my 12 by Christmas list:

  • travel size Boots firm hold hairspray
  • travel size Tresemme extra hold hairspray
Have already got an Elnett for my travel bag and am using a hairspray that was given to me when I bought my clip in hair extensions 9 years ago Hmm
IPokeBadgers · 07/11/2016 08:46

3 empties: the Superdrug Vit E Micellar water....quite good, bit stingy on the syses....probably won't repurchase; one of the (many) LE CLeanse and Polish (Special edition Rose and Cedrat), really liked but probably don't do it anymore, but have several in the stash; and a random cheapie shower gel (radox) that I somehow acquired at some point. Given all the lovely shower gels I have, really shouldn't waste precious showers on something I'm not fussed on!

IPokeBadgers · 07/11/2016 09:05

stinging on the eyes!!! Too early in the morning, fingers not awake and up to typing yet!

Cockblocktopus · 07/11/2016 12:13

Yes! First empty! Finished a bottle of Thabk You body wash.

I think it's lipstick and eye shadow and blush that I'll never get through. Sad

kwick · 07/11/2016 18:15

Well done cock and badgers!!

Have major dilemma:
Have just repurchased fav hair dye as roots are showing (Vidal Sassoon two step - best I have tried so far after I moved to dying myself over a year ago) but now need to use - however I am in the days leading up to fertility treatment and have thing at back of mind not to do during "two week wait".... do I:

  1. Dye hair tonight although it is the last thing I want to do after intense day I have had
  2. Hold off until December and use spray cover up in the interim (which I do not like feel of but actually does a good job otherwise)
Or
  1. Third alternative which I have not landed on yet
??? Help please!!!
FrustratedFrugal · 07/11/2016 19:24

Kwick I'd probably do #2 - because I am knackered too... (And fingers crossed with the treatment).

I played with the green eye shadow this morning, wanted to do dark intensely lined eyes, like this - managed to do it and felt very pleased...

...then walked through a snowstorm to a cafe to meet a friend, and later back home, and found that I looked like this (minus the lipstick)

kwick · 07/11/2016 20:45

Haha frustrated!!! Both looks are great Wink

kwick · 08/11/2016 07:10

Have decided to ditch So Susan flutter mascara - as it flutters all over - under eye and over eye Confused
Already have Rimmel volume colourist - but that is it - no more mascara stash!

usernameinfinito · 08/11/2016 20:40

Hello everyone!

Pinkie, frustrated and kwick I love your eyeshadows!

I love the make up inspiration photos Smile

I have finished a cocoa butter body scrub and a 50 ml Primark perfume. Both were ok, but I will not re buy.

usernameinfinito · 08/11/2016 20:42

I forgot to say I got rid of a very dry MUA lipliner. I have two silky KIKO lipliners, red and nude. Grin

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 09/11/2016 00:30

#winning frustrated

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 09/11/2016 00:31

I dream of no more mascaras kwick
Love a Kiko lip liner infinito

IPokeBadgers · 09/11/2016 11:44

Can i have a round of applause please for NOT buying the recent QVC Laura Geller TSV?

I really wanted it....looked so pretty and wanted to try the new foundation, and the blusher looked lovely, and the eye shadow stick was right up my street...

Right up until I went to bed I was still fighting with myself and had it in my basket to check out...after all, I have fallen down the rabbit hole big time with the spending lately....but I didn't cave in and I am pleased with myself!

FrustratedFrugal · 09/11/2016 17:17

That's pretty amazing actually!

kwick · 09/11/2016 17:53

Well done badgers!!! StarStarStar

ememem84 · 10/11/2016 07:38

2 empties here. One from the Christmas list - body shop peach shower gel. I would repurchase as it had a great smell and I love their shower stuff. But have about another million to get through.

Also used a sure compressed deodourant. Boring. Standard. Does the job. And because they're always on a threefa in boots I always have loads in the stash.

IPokeBadgers · 10/11/2016 09:41

Thank you takes a bow

I'm glad I didn't spend the money on it, I knew if I bought it I would just throw it in the cupboard with so much of the stash, but the way the spending has been lately it would have been so easy to just buck something else on the credit card....and that's a dangerous spiral to get into unfortunately.

It might not be a huge amount but I have a sort of rule that I only put on credit card what I can pay off at end of month, and I am currently pushing the limit of what I am comfortable with.

FrustratedFrugal · 10/11/2016 10:06

That's a really good principle Badgers - the same here!

I have finished a bottomless bottle of Chanel's Hydra Beauty Serum.
It was a lovely light acne neutral serum, perfect under mineral makeup in the winter, but I have found Korean alternatives that work just as well and are half the price or less. So will use Missha serums (Borabit or Waterful) next. And I'm not 100% sure that I need a serum all that much - my skin in pretty self-balancing and usually I am fine. Eucerin 5% urea is still my favorite product on freezing days when central heating is on and my skin goes flaky.

9/12 items from my Christmas list gone!

Cockblocktopus · 10/11/2016 11:05

Frustrated I found the same with a lovely Chanel moisturiser. I adored it but CeraVe is cheaper so aim trying it.

It's not as nice tbh but does the job.

FreeButtonBee · 10/11/2016 11:35

Finished a Dove stick deodorant. Boring safe functional repeat favourite. I might go crazy and get the silk version next time which is slightly more scented but not sickly sweet.

I have resisted all the beauty advent calendars - I still have products from the M&S summer box to use up. Maybe next year I can go for the Liberty one - which looks heavenly!

Bought a Cerave moisturiser - much cheaper than my current Kiehls ultra face cream - I hope it's heavy enough for winter - if not, it'll be lovely for summer and I can get something to keep me going til March/April. I got it now because I was buying other stuff from Amazon and it saved me the postage cost. I have pretty much used up all my facial moisturisers although there are probably a few samples/travel sizes to use up which I will line up.

dogdaydisaster · 10/11/2016 15:46

I have finished another from my Christmas list, the Elemis balm cleanser in the giant tub. There was a little of this left but it had started to small odd so it's gone. I have backups, but smaller sizes thankfully, as I think the huge pot was just too big. I do love this cleanser though.

I also used a sachet of zelens cleanser which came free in a cult beauty order (all Christmas gifts, nothing for me Grin). it was lovely but I haven't even looked at repurchasing as I know what Zelens stuff costs.

Have been very impressed with the make up photos!
