frugal might do it later. Haha.

I may have a glitter eyeliner.

kwick · 05/11/2016 10:28

mrs your confidence in my make-up artistry skills is flattering Grin I actually did quite a nice look this morning with a Chanel Illusion d'ombre and my everlasting No7 cream eyeshadow. Shame that the Bobbi Brown concealer I am using as foundation does not go on so well Confused

frustrated is it not a tad early for wine??? Wink I am off the sauce while I TTC... actually on my way for a scan now - fingers crossed my follicles are growing nicely!

kwick · 05/11/2016 10:33

I LOVE Kimberley Clarke!!!! I think frustrated you may have intriduced me to her. Will watch when I am back at home.

Also cannot post any photos as desperately need to pluck eyebrows...

woodhill · 05/11/2016 13:49

Mandara spa body butter used which is major as they go on forever.

P1nkP0ppy · 05/11/2016 16:43

Thank you kwick, I seriously don't know where to start!
Obviously I can finish up the four moisturisers I've started (why 4? No idea) then do I randomly go for the next one? I have tester sizes mainly so do I just keep using them up (various makes) or what?
I need to start wearing makeup again (stopped working a few months ago) and at least try to make an effort so that'll mean going through the cleansers, won't I Think?
I need to get my ass in gear, pronto.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 05/11/2016 17:20

frustrated I will accept your challenge. Going out tonight so will try a green sparkly eye......
Will post photo!

ememem84 · 05/11/2016 17:51

pink I'd start with some testers. These will spur you on to use up more.

ememem84 · 05/11/2016 18:15

Just had to ditch a grey liquid eyeliner. Apparently if you don't use them for about a gazillion years they turn to dust....

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 05/11/2016 18:18

What I thought was wild in mirror looks more restrained on photo. But finally used 2 shadows I've had for ages and never felt brave enough to wear. Prob a life lesson in there somewhere!

Looks good pinkie

FrustratedFrugal · 06/11/2016 09:20

Pinkie your eye color is so pretty, a lovely icy shade, and the dark shadow picks it up really nicely. I bet you could use that shade as a liner color in day looks!

Inspired by you, I dug out a sea green eye quad that I've always found intimidating. I thought I would look impossibly made up - this is the result Wink

And sorry, no party looks. We actually went to a party last night but I was running late so only had time for some lipstick. No glitter glue Wink

Ah seeing & reading about all your eyeshadow efforts has made me yearn to do an out-out face - haven't done for ages! (New baby 4.5 months Wink)

This week's empties:

  • Original Source Sweet Almond Body Butter - vegan/cf, nice smell, reasonable absorption - already repurchased & on the go!
  • Lush D'Fluff shaving cream - smells absolutely lovely, great for skin conditioning, dear but lasts me a lot longer than shaving foams; repurchased yesterday
  • M&S Floral Collection Magnolia Deodorant - love the smell of these products, & cf - repurchased yesterday in Honeysuckle
  • John Masters Organics Herbal Cider Clarifier - sorted out my post-pregnancy greasy hair nightmare a treat, but quite expensive (even though purchased on special offer) so will look for alternative

Hotly anticipated to finish this coming week:
Lush Miranda soap - refuses to die, despite FIVE MONTHS of daily usage...lovely fruity smell initially, but that's now all but gone so I'm a bit fed up of it!!

kwick · 06/11/2016 10:46

another I love your smokey eye!!! Instructions please!!!

frustrated a very subtle look - I love the crease.

Well done trundle!!!

kwick · 06/11/2016 10:55

BTW I think one of you lovely ladies recommended savlon for spots? THANK YOU!!!! It really works Grin

ememem84 · 06/11/2016 11:07

kwick that might have been me. Glad it worked for you!

MrsDilligaf · 06/11/2016 12:00

I haven't done much in the way of eye make up for a while, purely because I don't have the time to do much more than flick on a bit of mascara - having a baby doesn't give you much time to experiment!

However I am determined to get back into playing with my pallettes so once the little one is in bed I can get them out and try out some new looks - I have been digging about on pintrest for ideas.

kwick · 06/11/2016 12:47

I have an empty: Yves Rocher almond deoderant - have about 5 more of these, with matching shower gel in different flavours but seeing as I am an unmatched shower gel at the moment and want to try something more natural, I have replaced with a Dr Organics manuka honey one.

kwick · 06/11/2016 13:09

Ok this is my meagre attempt at a smokey eye... boy do I need to practice!!!

kwick · 06/11/2016 13:09

Please forgive the unplucked eyebrows...

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 06/11/2016 13:49

Thanks guys so much more than I would usually wear but felt great
frustrated yours looks lovely. Subtle sparkle too. I always imagined you were a brunette though!?!
Ememem is right p1nk. Just get started. I'm a big fan of using unloved facial moisturiser on feet! Before I found this thread I was a lost case but these ladies have sorted me out!
kwick crossing everything for your follicles!

LaundryQueenHatesIroning · 06/11/2016 14:05

Ah, I have been trying to find this thread! May I join?

What are your thoughts on decanting half full products into other half full bottles? Means you only have one bottle instead of two but is it cheating?

Have been doing a really good job of clearing out my excess products (not easy when you have a subscription to Look Fantastic Beauty Box Blush) but kind of dreading Christmas and the 1,900 hand creams/moisturisers that come with it!

ememem84 · 06/11/2016 14:18

laundry welcome!!!! Yes come join us!!!

I think it's ok to decant stuff. I did this as found I had about a gazillion half bottles of shampoo lying around (they were the same shampoo though)

I think I'm close to using up my day moisturiser. Maybe a couple of days left in it.

Am feeling super sleep today. Have only just got dressed.

MrsDilligaf · 06/11/2016 15:18

Ooh ooh kwick what colour is that? It's gorgeous

FrustratedFrugal · 06/11/2016 15:31

Laundryand other new people, welcome! Decanting is fine, my goal is to reduce clutter. I also sometimes make travel decants at home.

FrustratedFrugal · 06/11/2016 15:32

Kwick I like that color too!
