I'm 7 months pregnant and attending a family members wedding in a few weeks.

Which dress is better?! It will be quite a laid back bohemian wedding.

Thanks, yes the link is for the gold sequin Asos maxi dress. I'll order it and see how it looks. I'll post a photo if it looks ok... HmmGrin

Yes, do update us OP! I love s&b updates! I get too invested... It's only clothes ffs. Blush

I've ordered the gold ASOS dress before, it was hideous on! I'm 33 weeks and wore this to a christening a couple of weeks ago, it's from ASOS and isn't maternity. I'll also be wearing it to a wedding at the end of July as I'll be able to feed baby whilst wearing it. The fabric isn't the greatest but it's a flattering shape and does look nice on, plus it's not expensive.

I love Cowbags dress too, so much Simon gonna order it to try for an upcoming wedding 😊 I'm currently 25 weeks and I have found my Lindybop swing dresses fit lovely, the belt fastens over the top of my bump just nice, however we are at a wedding in August when I'll be 8 month pregnant and I am not sure how they will fit then, my bump is already huge.
Here's the link to the dress types I wear, www.lindybop.co.uk/dresses-c1/swing-jive-dresses-c3
although apologies that they are all knee length with a petticoat underneath and none are floor length (I have trouble finding ones long enough as i'm 6 foot!)

I'm so glad the first pink one is not your dress Shock

(Tell your friend to throw it).

BrokenFoot · 10/06/2016 22:51

Have you looked at Madderson London?

If it's good enough for Kate Middleton and Zara Phillips....!

The blue dress is better. It's a tiiny bit frumpy (it would be less frumpy if it was just a light blue without any additional fabric designs, I think) but it's a cute dress.

polyhymnia · 11/06/2016 09:33

The Seraphine ones are lovely. Glad you're not going to wear the first dress, the pink one. It looked both too bridesmaids and too tacky at the same time. Glad there are several nice alternatives.

Ugh, the Asos one arrived and it's HIDEOUS. Looks very orange, very very cheap fabric, multi coloured sequins, ill fitting, just awful! Can't bear to take a photo. Awaiting Seraphine.

Oh that's so annoying OP! It looked so nice in photos! Bloody Asos - I've had a mixed bag with their maternity stuff actually. Some of it is so cheap looking and see through. At least they do free returns! I got some lovely things from Seraphine. Hope you have better luck with those. Flowers

buttermymuffins · 11/06/2016 17:12

Your original blue one is absolutely beautiful. To be lucky enough to have such a well made dress is amazing. As great as next, Asos, Isabelle Oliver etc are they aren't going to come anywhere close in quality, material, attention to detail & cut. It would be a no brainier for me. If I were lucky enough to own such a garment! I'm off to ascot next week in my phase eight sale number!Wink

bobbinpop · 11/06/2016 20:12

Haven't read the full thread...
You look lovely in the blue. Really nice.

Tiredofsummer · 11/06/2016 20:39

I think yoj look lovely in the pink

Christinedonna · 11/06/2016 22:36

I think just because you fit into a dress..doesn't mean it's fitting. (Quite chuffed with myself for that), I have the same problem being a few weeks away from being a god mother at a christening and having absolutely nothing to wear and searching what feels like every possible place online so if you eventually find somewhere that does appropriate clothing please do let me know! But neither of those would be an option for me! (Sorry)

I actually thought the blue one you posted originally looked gorgeous.

I think you should just wear that!

franb77 · 12/06/2016 22:10

I think the blue one looks best but I'd see if you can get someone to take it in under the bust/above the bump so it looks more defined.
