Which dress is better? Two choices!

I'm 7 months pregnant and attending a family members wedding in a few weeks.

Which dress is better?! It will be quite a laid back bohemian wedding.

topshop

Not mega dressy but with some wedges and dress jewellery, maybe something for.your hair would be lovely.

Theres a few dressier ones on there too.

gingerbreadmanm · 09/06/2016 19:50

new look

Pretty with a wrap or blazer and nice sandals.

polyhymnia · 09/06/2016 19:53

The pink one really doesn't look good on you - or on many people, I'd think.
Blue better - not great but fine if you can't get a refund on it now.

Philoslothy · 09/06/2016 19:54

Now I have seen them on the blue is better than the pink.

I like the gold asos one

TeamFinn · 09/06/2016 21:03

I like the gold Asos one. I also like the Topshop one that gingerbread posted.

cowbag1 · 09/06/2016 21:10

I have just bought this from ASOS for a wedding and it looks really nice on.

Or this one?

Thanks all, some great advice and suggestions. I'd like a long dress really as fowling a bit chunky and don't really want to have to wear heels to slim out my legs!

OP, I don't know if it's just me, but do some of the pale floor length dresses you've linked to not look a wee bit bridal? I'd probably steer clear of pale coloured floor length dresses at a wedding (where I wasn't the bride obviously), but again, could just be me. I'm a bit paranoid about it after a very drunk wedding guest told off my friend for wearing a cream dress Hmm.

anotherdayanothersquabble · 09/06/2016 21:40

I think the blue one is lovely. Could you get an appropriate belt / scarf and create an empire line below the bust to frame your bump? (Not sure what that would do to the hem line as it might draw it up at the front.)

Liiinooo · 09/06/2016 21:44

The pink one isn't flattering and also quite bridesmaidy so if it is going to be a boho do it might be a bit formal? The blue has more of that Sienna Miller hippy chic vibe.

FlossiesFurCoat · 09/06/2016 21:45

Ok last two!

This

Or this

gingerbreadmanm · 09/06/2016 21:46

Cowbags or either of the last two asos ones i think. Theyre all lovely.

U dont look chunky at all in ur pics btw Smile

UnexpectedItemInShaggingArea · 09/06/2016 21:46

I would go for that yellow Asos one or the navy one.

Pale pink is a terrible colour on you, going on the photos. Sorry.

FlossiesFurCoat · 09/06/2016 21:47

Yes, I know they're a bit bridesmaid-y. I need to walk down the aisle in the procession though and don't really want to totter on heels.

Oh bloody hell, ok not pale pink....

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/06/2016 21:51

Sorry but I don't think any of them are okay. The pale pink ones look like the kind of nightdresses I wore in 1976.

I think you'd be better with a shorter dress, even without heels.

LadyAntonella · 09/06/2016 21:57

Gold Asos one or something shorter I think. The navy one is too formal maybe? The pale ones are a bit bridal and / or nightie-ish.

FlossiesFurCoat · 09/06/2016 21:57

This?!?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/06/2016 21:59

If you've really got your heart set on pale pink

V plain but could be dressed up

Lovely colour Again, v plain but maybe with gold accessories?

Lace

Crazy flowers

LadyAntonella · 09/06/2016 21:59

Can't comment (see above post re cream dress paranoia).

FlossiesFurCoat · 09/06/2016 22:00
