I used to not understand why people slagged off m&s so much on here, but this season they have really hit rock bottom. I saw the most ghastly floral dress in a glossy magazine the other day. Surely if you shell out for advertising space in a national glossy magazine you are going to feature your nicest stuff. Not good.

Tragic. Can we have a web chat with someone from M&S and tell him exactly what we really want? There are jobs depending on this stupidity, and loyalty seems to be fading.

There have been dozens of threads on MN where posters make helpful, knowledgable and constructive suggestions to M and S . All of which have been ignored . As you have probably guessed, listening isn't their strength .

I clicked on the link after reading all the thread, thinking they couldn't be that bad. Fuck me, they really are though, aren't they? I second the pp who suggested wearing them with paper bags on your head.

Jesus fucking hell. They are the worst pair of trousers I've ever seen in my life. They are reminiscent of my fat mate Pat who wore a pair of suede chaps to a posh rave in the 1990s. My male friend still laughs about it now nearly 30 years later.
