I know we have all laughed at M&S for their terrible gopping clothes over the past couple of years but I really feel they are getting back on track now... because these trousers are going to be my summer staple!

Link here

What would you wear them with? Smile

Cows died, for this.

M&S should be hauled into court

Also, for that price, could they not have found a piece of leather long enough to go from waist to calf? That seam at the knee makes it even worse!!

I'm only 5ft, so wouldn't need the "extra" bit at the bottom.

Wonder if they'd run me up a pair for £100?Grin

Oh no! Some people will wear these!

But why?

Pah, you lot over in the UK haven't a clue.

Every woman in the Italian high street is rocking that style. As we are in southern Europe and therefore for some unfathomable reason think that primary colour is de rigeur, they aren't diarrhoea coloured though, but yellow and orange.

Which does not make it any better.

As it's still May, and no self-respecting Italian woman would take her vest off until after 15th June, they are being worn with knee high socks and Converse.

I suggest you all snap the poo coloured ones now and get a box of dylon sofa dye.

Has anyone on the m&s site 'reviewed' them yet?

The model is 6'1" and size 8. What would they look like on a 5' 3" size 16?

Do M&S offer any styling suggestions?

Is "tough-luxe" actually A Thing? Surely the copywriter is on glue.

So good to see they are catering for that niche market of very short people who enjoy medieval reenactment !

Shall we all go and try on and post the shots on here?

Still have flashbacks at trying on jumpsuits in next....

I would imagine it would look like someone is stood behind two small trees.

Intriguingly the Evening Standard style section yesterday had a double page spread extolling the M&S Autumn collection as being back to the glory days. Including pink velvet tracksuit which city dwellers can wear with trainers. Hmm.

fucking conker?? ...conker??

it's shite colour!

so to be a M&S fashion buyer you have to have no fashion sense, AND be colour blind.

Dared to have a look and the rest is all quite wearable which begs the question 'just why' again

Read the OP and thought - yeah I've seen some stuff I love in M&S recently. However those are AWFUL.

I have these to offer -

this top

drss

jumpsuit

I don't think they have a target market which is where they're going wrong - trying to cater to everyone is a silly plan.

You wouldn't need to worry about Camel toe < conker toe>

A whole caravan of camels perhaps
