I know we have all laughed at M&S for their terrible gopping clothes over the past couple of years but I really feel they are getting back on track now... because these trousers are going to be my summer staple!

Link here

What would you wear them with? Smile

'A great city look'

Because in the country you wouldn't make it to the end of the high street without people prodding you with their pitchforks. And people in the city can get away with ridiculous clothes, natch.

Unbelievable.

It's hard to believe that this is really happening. I'd like some of whatever the designer of those was having, please!

Someone is plotting the downfall of M&S clothes for sure. They'll be a food only store shortly.

Thank you- I haven't laughed so much in ages. Grin

Is the crease a design feature or just where they came out the bag?

And the model is a 6'1'' size 8 and still they look rough as badgers' arses.
I'm considerably shorter. I'd look like one of those hideous dolls yer Nan would use to cover a bog-roll

They are repulsive aren't they.

So you think they will end up on that 'last chance to buy' rail they wheel out....

For 2.50

Tudor Re-Enactment Society? You just need to imagine a row of defenders armed with pikes and you will see what the designer had in mind.

Only £199. I'm going to buy two pairs. Grin

I think it's telling that the model's face doesn't appear in any of the photos. She obviously didn't want to be seen wearing such horrors.

And if you click on size 6 or 18, they exhort you to hurry, as there's only 4 left in stock

If you were good with a sewing machine you could probably get a couple of handbags out of them.

And they come in a size 18 - can you imagine? Disclaimer - I'm not fat shaming as a size 20 myself. Even as an 18 rather than a 20 I would resemble a small sofa in those. £199? They're having a laugh!

Do you think they might only actually make one pair in each size and use it as a lure? So they know MNers link to hideous stuff but it gets us on the website and some of us might then buy something else? Something normal. A but like reverse psychology. I know I have often bought something after seeing something else through a link here.

Today on my things I might like I'm getting sensible shoes.

Oh no, now those trousers are featuring prominently in the adverts on the side of my page. Along with a blazer that's almost as bad.

Absolutely The Holy Grail! They are exactly what I've been searching for for months and so have all my friends. It's so hard to find elasticated leather culottes but in my opinion they are an essential part of any woman's wardrobe (or man come to that - sorry for the casual sexism).

I am going to get some for when I do my welding.
How will I stop my socks setting of fire from the sparks though?

Free delivery? I wouldn't even have the trousers if they were freeGrin

Beware of your next thread reading " I was laughed at many times today whilst wearing my gorgeous new trousers and I haven't a clue why "

cider and at under 5ft and about as wide I'd look like your footstool 😁

One hundred and ninety nine actual British pounds as well. Fuck me not very likely if seen wearing those

Of course, now I'm going to be plagued with M&S advert 😖 😁
