Err, how did that happen with no one noticing!
It's because we're all on the dark and stormy, sloe gin and prosecco innit.

Sorry for the not v inspired title but I panicked.

Oh no, not on gardening leave. I've got to work out my Three (III) Months Notice, which is good as I can get my crown done while I'm still insured, but bad because you can't move on.... And as I'm not really going anywhere, they don't worry about commercial aspects. Obviously I could have lied!

Blackduck · 05/05/2016 18:54

MI :(

I've never had gardening leave either but have been in orgs where sales staff get met at the door and given a box of belongings...

Oh Cremo I'm loving the sound of all of that!

motherinferior · 05/05/2016 18:59

On the good side, I have located the gin I stashed in the fridge last week. On the other, DP is still huffy with me.

(Also I found the Bombay mix. So on balance I'm ahead.)

Cremo · 05/05/2016 20:37

I am trying to recover from a shock decicision on Masterchef Shock

MI indeed follow your nose. It's going to be about how much of you ddad you can handle though. I am so sorry your mum is all but vanishing. Sad

There seem to be a lot of gin joints in the city, but Mothers Ruin has to be the best name.
I am browsing the Arabica party menus. And here which sounds hilarious.

Beachy old chum, something will present itself. It is only by not thinking about anything at all that we get get our best ideas. Keep reading and pottering.

herbaceous · 05/05/2016 20:58

NO MASTERCHEF SPOILERS CREM! DP is out, and has forbidden me from watching it yet. I hope it's not what I fear it might be.

bigTillyMint · 05/05/2016 21:02

Arabica looks delish - I had never heard of itShock but must try it now!

CointreauVersial · 05/05/2016 21:02

Julian C is vair funny and quite rude. There's a 16yo boy near the front - not sure I'd have brought DS.

He is planning to come amongst us in the second half.

motherinferior · 05/05/2016 21:03

He's STILL huffy with me...

MrsSchadenfreude · 05/05/2016 21:05

Oh dear oh dear oh dear

Blackduck · 05/05/2016 21:24

We have no live YV but watched Masterchef Mexico - surely dessert girl/ dropped out has to go?

motherinferior · 05/05/2016 21:25

MrsS???!!?

Blackduck · 05/05/2016 21:28

MrsS? Is that for MI or are you being norty....

GiddyGiddyGoat · 05/05/2016 21:31

I bought dh some gin for Christmas - went to a posh hipster offie in Hipsterville E London and ended up tasting 101 varieties at 11 in the morning with ds1 in tow. He was very disapproving and scathing....

I despair of the youth of today. At that age 11am gin would have caused me not a moment's hesitation...

GiddyGiddyGoat · 05/05/2016 21:56

Mrs S???

OP posts:
MrsSchadenfreude · 05/05/2016 21:59

Bit pissed. Not behaving.

herbaceous · 05/05/2016 22:08

Are you with That Man?

< hoiks bosom >

motherinferior · 05/05/2016 22:11

My father is going completely mad. He insists mum is reacting a bit and tried to smile when he kissed her goodnight.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 05/05/2016 22:23

He probably is a bit mad at the moment MI... Still thinking of you and hoping you're holding on in there. X

Cremo · 05/05/2016 23:05

Oh fucketyfuck taxi for Mrs S.Grin

No masterchef spoilers, no.

GGG, sounds smashing . What's wrong with the yoof of today?

CV , no. Julian's billed as Over 18 with uz, but sure there are teenagers and then there are teenagers

CointreauVersial · 05/05/2016 23:44

Tactical withdrawal, MrsS?

MI - thinking of you. Flowers And your DDad.

motherinferior · 06/05/2016 08:13

And another day starts. Dad planning to go to shops. Do we need anything, he asks - HOW WOULD I KNOW? I DON'T LIVE HERE. And no I don't need a ready-made sandwich for lunch because there is nice stuff in the fridge I BOUGHT ON MONDAY.

bigTillyMint · 06/05/2016 08:52

MI, you clearly have been spoilt by your new-age man-about-the-kitchen DP - I can imagine DH saying those exact things to meShockGrin

Here I am feeling rather tired after worrying about DD and her relationship woes/DH tossing and turning (inspection today) all night.
