taybert I don't know anymore in Gap. I think I'm a fairly standard 12 (occasionally a big 12 depending on cake intake) hips and I'm 28 in Gap, so I'd say you're smaller than 28.

Off to peruse the Whistles sale.....

JohnCheese · 10/06/2016 14:47

Oh WOW Amber!! Fab

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/06/2016 16:38

I like M&S Autograph skinnies. I have some Topshop ones and some Current Elliot, but the M&S ones beat them both hands down, for me anyway.

Speaking of M&S this is very me, but it's poly. Has anybody seen it irl?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/06/2016 16:38

Agh - ignore me. It's navy - thought it was black. No longer interested, even though I'm partial to a bit of gingham!

JackandDiane · 10/06/2016 16:39

my blush jeans saga continues on twitter. I am rebuying the ones some said looked naked

Yr 12 approved of my yellow skirt today! :)

Tanaqui · 10/06/2016 16:46

I teach little ones and the things they like are my dress with cats on and my butterfly scarf- I suspect all cute animals would be well received!

AmberNectarine · 10/06/2016 16:51

You may like this sundress I took delivery of yesterday Remus.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/06/2016 17:01

It's lovely, Amber. My days of strapless are over though.

wiltingfast · 10/06/2016 17:05

Sale on in Banana Republic, spotted this which of course is not in the sale!

PrimalLass · 10/06/2016 19:01

Has anyone mentioned this yet for a holiday dress? It is a bit see through, but ok with £7 Primark slip.

And I thought I liked the La Redoute linen tees until the Hush version arrived. Which of course cost twice the price.

Going to wear the gold one tomorrow night, with the black La Redoute linen vest underneath.

PrimalLass · 10/06/2016 19:02

Although I haven't tried the combo yet so it might be awful.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/06/2016 19:12

But isn't the point of a holiday dress to be lovely and cool? The last thing I'd want is to have to wear a slip. It does look a nice dress though.

taybert · 10/06/2016 19:39

I agree Remus, it's a shame to have to wear something underneath, also, things just never seen to hang as well or look as nice with a slip or top underneath. The t shirt is lovely though. Does it really need a vest or could I get away with a nude bra in a non work context?

deutschland83 · 10/06/2016 20:19

Remus that top you linked the stripey one looks lovely

lets talk clothes. Anyone got their eye on anything?
JackandDiane · 10/06/2016 20:53

Depends - i dress up all year. On holiday i look a frickin horror.
I dont want to waft about in dresses. I barely wash

OP posts:
JackandDiane · 10/06/2016 20:56

fuck a slip
just wear an opaque bra and a black thong

OP posts:
taybert · 10/06/2016 20:58

But dresses are easy, only one thing to wear innit? Apart from undies. Which you probably should if they're see through like that Hush one but I guess it depends where you go on holiday.

JackandDiane · 10/06/2016 20:59

last year in France we planned to go out for dinner but then realised we would all have to Make an Effort, so we went to Super U and cooked ourselves. RESULT

Argh, JohnCheese - you are taunting me with yet another clothing item I've been craving! I dithered too long about buying that tie-front Mango shirt, and now it's gorn. Angry

taybert · 10/06/2016 21:00

That said, I am a new convert to shorts on holiday since B) Starting running so legs are not just sausages B) Finding shorts that fit. They are my new favourite thing.

taybert · 10/06/2016 21:03

I find when in France the best thing to do is make sure your fridge is filled with cheese at all times. That way you can eat it in your pants if you can't be arsed to go out. We did go out to lunch the other day and when we got in the car after me and DH just bitched about how awful everyone's shoes were. I love France. And maybe DH a bit.

AdoraKiora · 10/06/2016 21:03

Ha!@J&D

I'm with you. We dont holiday anywhere terribly chic in the summer (with kids in tow), so I can slob about in the same grotty swimsuit and some long vests and shorts pretty much all the time. Couple of throw on dresses for evening, maybe. I reverted to complete American Mom Walmart Slob in Florida last year. twas liberating.

I'm a bit of a tramp at weekends, too, to be honest Grin.

Its work I tart up for. Vain bitch.

taybert · 10/06/2016 21:03

Also, I don't know the alphabet. I may have had wine.
