Bugger I got a cash bonus today in work

So going to blow it all in the whistles sale or on a Gucci soho disco in navy, red and camel.

I have the stripy dress from Toast - last year's colour, has a deep v in the back, which keeps you cool, I like it but I struggle to find cover ups to go with it.

I have a navy disco. It's a very good bag.

I fancied it in navy, I wear a lot of navy. I just saw the new colour way and really really liked it.

I do also like the black one with the bee

I like the one with the bee or the one with the lion head. If you're going to buy one, I strongly recommend doing it in store as the staff are lovely and really treat you like a VIP. Unlike Chanel where you have to fake a heart attack to get them to look at you.

I get most of my jeans from Topshop these days.

Jeans - White company or good old M&S!

Now then, I never really bought jeans from topshop, even as a youth as I always found if they fitted on the hips they were huge on the waist. Are they still the same?
I like These from gap but I haven't had anything from there for ages and would be very unsure about sizing given a recent buy from banana republic.

My last jeans were M&S Autograph girlfriend. Very happy.

French Connection rebound jeans? Lovely fit and true to size and they have lots of colours now since I bought my fantastic dark denim (old but chic style) ones.

I get the high waisted styles as I have a tiny waist. Not sure about the lower rises.

I have the Gap Girlfriend jeans, like 'em a lot. I've a big bum and these suit quite well. But size well down, 1 or 2 sizes down. Order a few and return the wrong ones. They have money off atm (don't they always) GREATGAP for 35% off.

Nowt else to report. Oh I was in Mango a little while ago. Bought this top. Really like it and have worn many times already. You can tie the knot loosely or tighter. And avert your eyes poly haters, this tee. Which is dead handy. May have bought it in all a few other colours. Not that horrible orangey one tho.

I live in GAP girlfriend jeans too. They are bloody brilliant despite crazy sizing. Thanks for the code john - need more!

BTW Ive recently name changed as my DH has been an utter cockwomble and I'm on the relationship boards.

I'm taking the pain away by buying what I want, when I want it.

It's mainly handbags with names I've always wanted and shoes.

I'll be in London and Manchester next week for work so will head to Gucci if I can.

I can't get toppers jeans over my arse. I'm happy being a UK size 8 in gap though

Went to HN to get my eyebrows threaded and they broke me with the sale preview discount - bought this skirt which I originally wanted in black but tried the white on a whim and really liked. Must not buy anything else now!

I find shopping/browsing a great distraction when there's a lot 'else' going on. Actually it's a great distraction always !! That, and cake. And (following on from cake comment) YES! totally with you on the delight at Gap's vanity sizing. It's the little things...

Yep, that's what I was thinking about the sizes based on recent banana republic purchases. Their sold by waist size though. I can't remember the last time I bought jeans in inches. I'm a pretty standard uk 10 but waist is a fair bit smaller than hips. 28?
