But then I need to hide this thread and cut up all my cards. I went to buy shoes for the jumpsuit and ended up with these culottes. They are beauteous.

I haven't worn a bikini since I had kids and lost my lovely flat tum but have decided that this summer I am braving it. Fook it.

Just browsed the boden clearance- has anyone tried the jumbo cord kilt? Reviews suggest it doesn't lie flat at the front but it is bargain price. Like the Faye dress too but think I would look grim in it- might try it I guess!

kaynes love those culottes. Do they come up true to size? I've never worn culottes before, what would you wear with them?

Tanaqui, I have that kilt from a couple of years ago and I can't say I remember it not sitting flat. I haven't worn it much though as it's quite chunky and did tip me in to bottom heavy territory.
Arich go thighs! I'm going to find a use for them one day. Until then, I will dress them in banana republic shorts.

My uniqlo order arrived and sizing is all over the place.

Denim shirt & pullover (linked above) were far too big. Slub T shirt was a great fit and loved the drapey T shirt. All size M.

Whats good in the boden clearance?

han I have just bought the Boden Keira studded boots in pewter reduced down to £72. Not many sizes left, they have good reviews.

Dancer, they are reasonably true. I'm a 12/40 in mango and gap trousers and although I could squeeze into the 10, I wouldn't be able to eat much while wearing them so went for the 12. They are lined but still more translucent than ideal, you really need to be sure of your knicker choice. And they are reasonably high waisted so would need some sort of cropped top or something very slinky to tuck in and still avoid lines. All those provisos aside, they are gorgeous!

Remus flats ideally. I'm very annoying though because I need something fairly supportive due to crap joints (so no completely flat/paper thin soles) and I hate loafers

I liked these but silly Clarkes seem to have changed their sizing and I'm increasingly finding that they don't fit my little, narrow feet.

Humph. Can't do Boden shoes - they are too narrow for my big wide feet (I appear to be the opposite of Remus. The Anti-Remus ).

I have tiny bird feet - unfortunately my stomach/norks are no longer tiny or bird-like!

I brought the jumpsuit back. In the cold light of my bedroom mirror it was hideous ambitious. I got this to go with the culottes for the party instead.
