Haha Jack I can't do boho either for the same reason. Also because, as a short-bodied tits'n'hips 5'4" person, loose floaty clothes make me look like a windswept marquee.

Vaara · 14/05/2016 08:41

Another one with the Boden ruched skirt here! I've only worn mine with tights so far and it rides up, so ends up a couple of inches above the knee. I'm yet to try it without tights. Looks lovely though.

I'm also loving my Boden Slub t shirt dresses at the moment and my tweed mini. It's been hot here for the last week or two so I'm enjoying getting my dresses and sandals out.

As to what's next, I'm looking for some comfy metallic gladiators. The sole fell off mine last year and the replacements I got from Topshop are really uncomfortable, any recommendations?

Vaara · 14/05/2016 08:43

Oh I'm also looking for a baby blue top in jersey or cotton with mid length or short sleeves.

Baby blue doesn't seem to be a colour at the moment

JackandDiane · 14/05/2016 08:47

like a windswept marquee. ha

Not convinced on the cotton wide leg trousers from uniqlo niminy but I really like the jersey ones! have never bought from there but am v tempted Grin

Love the jumpsuit florisme I don't think you'll regret it. Nice to try new looks Smile

Vaara I got a baby blue cotton top from wild fox but since it has "reality sucks" emblazoned on it I suspect it's not quite what you are looking for Grin

AdoraKiora · 14/05/2016 09:12

I'm having my annual espadrille dither this morning.

They always look so nice on other people, but I feel like a 'kooky' Steiner Mum whenever I try them on (sorry Steiner mums).

Whats the consensus? And what do you wear them with?

JackandDiane · 14/05/2016 10:54

You have to get the new ones IMO. Wedge maybe. On phone Atm. Leave it with me tho. I saw some somewhere

espadrilles everywhere here (asia).
worn with skinny jeans, crops and shorts. nice with most summery outfits.

i have my eye on things in j crew and a lovely soft jacket from esprit

reading with interest!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/05/2016 14:29

I like those, See.

Got a black cotton Nicole Farhi sundress in a charity shop today, for 6 quid. It's a bit tent-like but I'm hoping it will be nice and cool for wafting around on my summer holidays (and the tent shape means I will be able to fit in lots of lovely pints of German beer, and plenty of apple cake).

AdoraKiora · 14/05/2016 16:10

I just ordered this ASOS dress for work and am still browsing online...

I'm an online shopping addict. Help me! Grin

AdoraKiora · 14/05/2016 16:12

oh bollocks to link.

Its the light grey stripey double layer wiggle dress.

KanyesVest · 14/05/2016 20:35

Adora, this one? V nice. I love that look but drapey tops hang off my boobs like curtains.

CointreauVersial · 14/05/2016 21:09

Love the grey dress, Adora - very tempted! Just the right shape for me.

AdoraKiora · 14/05/2016 21:17

Thats the one!

I'm a tall (5'11), slim-ish (10-12) cross between inverted triangle and hourglass. I've got boobage and waist/hip/bum curves, but def got slightly broad shoulders.

This shape of dress can be either PERFECT on me OR awful (shoulder and tit emphasis)....

...so am awaiting with baited breath Grin

Will report back!

KanyesVest · 14/05/2016 22:24

Fingers crossed Adora. I too am an online addict. Sometimes I fill a basket then just abandoning it. I often wonder if house of Fraser techies see my IP address and sigh with frustration Grin

I'm wearing this linen tee and it's really gorgeous (but huge, I'm a 10 but went for 6/8 and it's still loose)

KanyesVest · 14/05/2016 23:11

Oh Dotty, that's lovely. I bought a really soft grey one today, but I could add to my collection. Never bought from la redoute before. Presume it's very easy to give them my dh's money?

JackandDiane · 15/05/2016 11:29

That boden linen thing I linked. I've got it on with jeans. I'm a liking

Anyone want a bikini report?

Did a next bikini order. I'm not too fussy about fit for bikinis, but I do need a bra size as opposed to a dress size 10, 12, and hate spendinging a fortune - I go off them, they get ruined with suncream, chlorine etc etc.

So this is a keeper. Colours way nicer irl, really lovely, at least in my bedroom.

And this bird one is surprisingly nice, even if the background is white. Nice red (not orangey at all) and blue trim. The bottoms are vile on me - an immediate 'oh no, no no' from the kids, but will exchange for these ones. I am hippy.

Size WELL up in the bottoms of both bikinis.

Thought this might be nice. Nah. Not really. Poor fit on me too.

Here endeth the bikini report.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/05/2016 15:37

Jack
Saw the camo skirt today. It is very short. Didn't try it on, but it looked as if it would be mid-thigh on me, and I'm 5'2. It'd probably be okay as a belt on you!
