Oo, yeah, there are some nice ones there. Any idea on the sizing? I've not had anything from there for ages and the last few things from gap have been a bit weird size wise.

Excellent, that's what I guessed based on American reviews and converting my weight in to pounds. No parcels today. Rubbish.

BODEN

Ruched skirt: love. Am wearing it now.

Cropped chinos: I like these, but they are just that little bit too big and baggy at the top - they're doing that Y shaped creasing thing around the groin, I hate that. Annoying as they fit well everywhere else. I bet the next size down will be too small.

Crop cardigan: like, keep.

Ravello top: lovely colour (green) doesn't fit right on me (too big, too long).

Linen tees: just no.

UNIQLO

Cardigan jackets: really like these but again they are too big. I ordered up on the assumption that U stuff is tiny,but perhaps I'm not as lardy as I thought. Will swap for next size down.

Strange waistband trews: as above.

To the returns I go...and still have no trousers to wear.

Just ordered two of the uniqlo draped t-shirts and the navy cardigan jacket. €9.95 delivery to Ireland so hope they fit!

So tempted by the Boden or Hush ruched skirt but don't think I can justify the price. The exchange rate is not my friend... Is there any chance they will be reduced this side of September?

Loving that M&S bag Jack. Might wait for the next 20% off and hope it's still available. I have a bag full of returns to take to the Post Office today. I ordered the Boden ruched skirts in black & blue long. It's a great skirt and I would happily keep both colours but I can't really afford to so plumped for the black. I also ordered 4 ruched midi skirts from Boohoo at the bargainous price of £10 each to see how they compared. If anyone is interested, they are longer than the Boden long ones with more ruching and are narrower at the bottom. I have kept a navy one but not sure how much wear I'll get out of it as it's not really an everyday skirt. A

I'm thinking about wide leg cropped trousers (again) - mulling over denim or cotton drill ones from Uniqlo - leaning towards the denim as it's on sale. I like the fact that they're very structured rather than drapey.

Mind you, I also like these drapey jersey ones.

I like the cotton ones niminy. Unfortunately it's unrequited in my case as I am short and hippy with an arse you could balance a jug on, so cropped wide trousers just make me look deranged.

I really like cropped wide legs in the summer - I think they're far easier to wear than capris. I think I'd go for the denim. I like the drapey ones too but I could see them getting a bit saggy after a few washes.

I am very far out of my comfort zone having just bought a jumpsuit for a vair glam 40th birthday party next week. I also invested in very non-glam scaffolding for underneath. Shoe/accessory suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Question about the Boden ruched skirt - does it come up quite long? It says below the knee on the website. I don't like my skirts too long so I bought the Hush one which is above the knee. I love it and am considering a second colour but the khaki is sold out.

Dancergirl Well the long one is definitely below knee on me (5'11), so am guessing the regular one would def be below knee on a person of average height.

I went a bit mad on Boden last night while slightly tipsy and bought a couple of the ruched vests, the indigo pencil skirt, and assorted white tops for work.

Got the ballet tie-waist dress in 'brushstrokes' for summery work days. Very flattering on. Am considering ordering the other colours.

I have a Boden ruched vest, I reckon it'll get lots of wear. Not too sure about the ruched skirt. Need to try with several tops I think- my tummy is a problem area and whilst I like it (lots), I'm not entirely sure it's flattering on me.
