Thank you btm. It's lovely but very in me -floral tea dress.

Can I join everyone on the utterly knackered, wonky eyed, crepey corner? Would like to go to bed for ever

herbaceous · 06/04/2016 19:57

I've gone off the chorister idea, now I've realised he'd have to board. From aged 7. I shall have to find another outlet for my ambitions.

MrsSchadenfreude · 06/04/2016 20:02

I have said I am not cooking and we either have a takeaway or eat out. It looks as if I am expected to sort this out too...

bigTillyMint · 06/04/2016 20:11

I had a nap before TV dinner and feel a bit better now! Not sure I look it though Grin

Addle, that will be so you!

Cremo · 06/04/2016 20:30

I have been norty and bought an item I don't need but will surely become indispensable from the Liberty range at Uniqlo .HmmBlush

I am deranged after bad night - room for another exhausted crepey on the enormous, squishy sofa with chocolate, gin, tv dinners and box sets to hand?

GiddyGiddyGoat · 06/04/2016 20:54

Flops down onto sofa, large gin in hand....

What is going on - I've just caught up with the thread - and I too am absolutely cream crackered! Sooooo tired and for no real obvious reason. Think I might go to bed in a minute.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 06/04/2016 20:55

What did you buy Crem?

Blackduck · 06/04/2016 21:00

MrsS you sling the takeaway menus at them as you depart for a fab dinner alone...

Collymollypuff · 06/04/2016 21:38

Next thread title, courtesy of GGG: cream crackered Crepeys. Grin

Crem, so sorry about your medical trials. Sad Gah. It makes you half afraid to see a damn doc, at our age. My age, anyways. Clothes buying is a great antidote.

Herbs, I am longing to come on your incredibly adventurous around-London trips. In fact, I would like you to adopt me, if that's OK.

magimedi · 06/04/2016 21:45

keep away from doctors is my motto.

Would also like to be adopted by Herbs.

Off to see 102 yr old DH's aunt tomorrow - she's back in hospital with an acute chest infection. Sad

Agree re internet shopping - have just treated myself to this hat in hope of a great summer.

Am certain it's going to be another 76!!

(Could have spent £££££££ on that site)

Cremo · 06/04/2016 21:51

GGG - In a fit of indecision I bought the linen shirt in blue fleurs. I wanted the hoody ( for pilates-posing reasons) but sadly not available except in Especially Minute for Dainty Japanese Teenager size.Wink
I plan to wear with denimy bottom half in a 'running through a fresh Spring meadow' manner.

I am shattered < oofs on to cushion on floor> Addle I hear you!

Are we talking Laura Ashley/uniqlou mashup? I have bag only because ds dumped my bag in a puddle of wet......... And I needed a replacement

Knackered here. And to much wine....

Cremo · 06/04/2016 22:03

Molly and Magi, sadly the docs come after me in either letter , email or text form. In many ways it's the bloody intrusion intothat makes me madder that actually having the condition.
I am beyond fed up with people giving me the perceived wisdom on something I know a fair bit about myself after 40 years.< tired rant> ( and there seems no end to this .....)

right! bath and bed for me.

Yes, I know what you mean - a tiny bit - about the pursual. Sad

Blackduck · 06/04/2016 22:22

Ahh. Cremo.. As I say rush and grab bag as ds had dumped mine in a puddle in Yo Sushi (sounding like something in 'overheard in waitrose')

Blackduck · 06/04/2016 22:25

So I have a naice Laurs Ashley bag.....

NUFC69 · 07/04/2016 07:38

Sorry I have been AWOL - I have no idea what I have been doing with my time, but looking after four extra mouths (plus cats) means that I just go from day to day. We have, though, had a trip down to the Midlands which somehow morphed into a day trip to the Isle of Wight with DSis where we relived many childhood memories. My DNephew also visited with not so new baby, who is delightful.

I seem to have missed lots of sad news: my condolences, Auriga and Monty. And also sorry to hear about DDog, BD. Sorry to hear about your eye problems, too, Crem. DH's cousin's wife finally lost her sight completely last year (MS related). Thanks

We're off to Majorca on Tuesday, away from this mad house. DS has now been given a date of 13th May for house completion, so about five weeks to go....

motherinferior · 07/04/2016 08:06

My parents have counselling today. So that's some poor bugger appealing desperately for another job by the end of today - crocodile wrangling, bomb detonation, anything rather than have to deal with them againGrin.

Otoh lovely doctor cousin is slowly persuading my dad to take the anti-depressants he's been prescribed. Obviously he is vv anti.Angry

motherinferior · 07/04/2016 08:06

And don't talk about knackered. My exhaustion won't quit.

MrsSchadenfreude · 07/04/2016 08:55

Oh NU - I will be in Majorca next week with DD2! If I can ever get the end of this week done. Working till around 10 last night. Was asked for my mobile number as "we need contact details for the weekend", so said it wasn't going to be me on call, as I would be on a plane and not coming back. The late working hours caused because someone more senior than me is incapable of making a decision.

MI - I would sort of like to be a fly on the wall at that counselling session.

Had wine last night. Too much for a work night, it would appear this morning.

Blackduck · 07/04/2016 09:07

MrsS good on you. You are on leave and should not be on call....

I'd love to be in that counselling session too.... I think it might be challanging Grin

Here too much wine too, but not at work this week so I am still in bed with ds moaning about breakfast.

Peeing down AGAIN!

Hi NU welcome back :)

motherinferior · 07/04/2016 09:10

They had family counselling when DSis was anorexic (I'd left home by then). Needless to say it got NOWHERE.

herbaceous · 07/04/2016 09:45

Bluegh. I've got food poisoning. Crampy stomach, nausea, alarming toilet experiences. And I was supposed to be meeting up with lots of chums for a jolly run about the forest, looking for eggs. With kiddies, natch. Can't face leaving the proximity of a bathroom right now.

And I'm running out of loo roll.
