Found this yesterday. The shop has no fitting room or mirrors Confused and the dress has no labels so I had to just hope it fitted me when I got it home. It cost £5.99.

It did Grin.

Has anyone else had a good find recently?

I got a red cashmere sweater for £5 the other day, it appears to be unworn as no signs of wear at all, but in another charity shop recently I spotted a cashmere jumper which was very worn for £15. I guess a lot depends on the knowledge of the people responsible for sorting and pricing, I do get annoyed when I think I've found something good and then discover a hole!

smellyrose my main tip would be to allow a bit of time and don't just go to one area, I love charity shopping to hunt down the bargains and will often drop ds off at nursery, then hit them all morning covering up to 3/4 different areas. so around 15 different shops.

I just drive around and honestly as sad as it sounds Thats how i always seem to find bargains, just keep going in, they constantly put out new stock, so the more you visit the more chance you've got of getting something.

I agree with above poster, pop in frequently as you never know what you will find. And don't buy something just cos it's cheap! Only get it if you really like it.
