Ootd is black cos wool and silk knee length dress, black opaques and maroon ankle boots. Have accessorised with silver statement necklace, earrings, bracelets and ring. Will wear pleather jacket grey cashmere scarf, wool wrist warmers and take bobble hat just in case.

Will look out for you Mara (sent you a pm)

Georgina this order is a return/exchange which does take a bit longer but still, it's now 2 weeks.

Longislandicetee · 16/01/2016 11:03

Thanks Georgina! Will have a nosey on JL website!

Karcheer, I am a 28E and I get most of my underwear from Freya, Fantasie, Panache and Rigby & Peller. I would love La Perla and AP but similarly to you, no chance!

Dh has taken the kids to their activities so home alone at the moment. Hope Mara and FedUp have lovely london days.

OOTD is helly Hansen black and orange long tee (very slim fitting) with beige Banana Republic cords. Plain watch and simple garnet ring. Underwear Grin is pink and yellow Freya set (that's especially for Dry!)

Karcheer · 16/01/2016 11:19

blingy I also have to have plunge bras other wise I find the bit in the middle sticks in me and hurts :(

GeorginaWorsley · 16/01/2016 11:32

Very cold and frosty here so OOTD
Black coated Warehouse skinnies,Marks heatgen thermal top,Boden black off duty jumper,Stan Smith trainers.

Dreamqueen · 16/01/2016 13:19

I've read the instructions on how to post a link, apologies if this doesn't work, it's my first attempt.
Im counting this as my first purchase for 2016.

I'm not counting gym wear, or holiday clothes in my 10 items.

QueenC · 16/01/2016 13:27

I'm struggling now with dh away. I've decided however much a crap parent it makes me I have to do what I have to do to get through the weekend. So they had a morning of screen time to allow me to nap. They're swimming now so at least getting some exercise!
I agree with georgina that level 3 is better. The abs work is v hardcore though but some bits I'm finding easy. I may get some heavier weights.
The Boden top arrived and I think it's going back. I was hoping that the navy cami underneath would show through a lot more but it just kind of looks like a black lace top and I already have one. Never mind.

Boring ootd-slim straight jeans, MD navy/black jumper, black t shirt bra and black sloggi Grin

We are taking the kids to Lumiere later too, looks lovely!

Larastheme · 16/01/2016 13:42

mara have a look at spyder,we bought some for the dcs last year And they both tried them on last week and thank god they still fit

I've liked the Roxane too,but thought it was very heavy, also loved the tillie bag, they are IMO the best mulberry designs ,quintessentially English ! Too bad both are discontinued,

I did a qiuck count of the stuff I bought for AW, and its almost 14 not counting a few things I received as presents, its a lot more than I expected , actually a lot , need to cut back,
But after a lot of consideration ,think I will do 4 items every season, 4 for spring,4 summer and so on, even items I'm buying now jan-feb would be concidered part of the spring quota , didnt want to limit to 10, as I know I won't be able to commit and will have a major relapse and binge buy,

queen ! Shock, that doesn't make you crap parent at all! We all do this! Managing three on your own is exhausting,

LinusLovesBretons · 16/01/2016 14:38

queenc don't beat yourself up about it! I look after the DC a lot by myself as well and sometimes that means they get more screentime.

mara as they grow out of things so quickly I usually buy their ski stuff from H&M.

They have great basic black ski trousers with elasticated braces that are easy to take on and off. And DS has a great blue ski coat from there as well.

At your DS's age I would buy separates as they are easier to take off when going to the loo.

Otherwise have a look at Surfdome if they already have ski stuff on sale, or Boden.

With regard to underwear, I do wear nice bras every day (in summer I do wear plain ones underneath tees) but I really don't like wearing fancy knickers underneath trousers and jeans.

So I wear basic black, white or nude pants to match my bra but I do try to buy ones that have a bit of lace detail. I have a few cotton Cosabella french knickers that are lovely but ££ so I wait to buy them in the sales.

Karcheer · 16/01/2016 14:58

Tk maxx is good for ski stuff isn't it?

QueenC · 16/01/2016 15:06

mara I don't know if they are still selling it but Aldi do ski wear which people say is very good. Uniqlo do kids heatech vests if you need a baselayer

i don't know about the only buying 10 items, i just buy as i need or as something catches my eye. I have done a massive order and i'm keeping them all but for that money, i got 12 dresses, 2 skirts and a top so i think i got my monies worth really. together with the cons and dr martens i got for my birthday, i'm pretty set for the rest of the year unless something special comes up apart from replacing underwear, tights and socks. I would like to up my accessories game though, I am very lax even though I have nice things. I think i would like to save for a special handbag of some sort, though as yet i'm unsure of exactly what i want but the marcie does appeal to me but i wonder if it would be too heavy for me to carry daily

Drywhitethanks · 16/01/2016 17:03

Geordina another outfit I wear a lot.....I'd wear yours with my camel coat.

The frost hasn't gone today.

2hrs at the gym then cheese for lunchHmm will doubtless fall asleep early tonight. Staying in Jan is quiet, dry Jan is easy

OOTD I'm pretending it's summer as I'm inside. Jimmies, black lace shell top 2 vests underneath black fitted cardi, animal print flats

Liberty I don't need to see that film as DS went last night and gave me a 10min run down, including all the gorey bits. His verdict was that it was "good but a bit arty"

Not sure I could do 10 things.

AmberNectarine · 16/01/2016 17:10

Who is coming next weekend?

LinusLovesBretons · 16/01/2016 17:20

dry I'm not sure I can do 10 things either!

Last year I have tried to buy quality over quantity but sometimes it's soo hard to resist a bargain.

Especially in summer I find it hard to spend £££ on clothes, I don't really know why.

Just had one of DH's Vespers and I am feeling a bit lightheaded. Maybe because I have my periods? TMI?!

Nothing some homemade steak tartare and chips can't sort out. Wink

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/01/2016 18:37

Linus that sounds lush. We are having steak with dauphinoise potatoes.

10 things is not for me. My current shopping challenge is to find perfect capsule items for my Asia holiday. Spreadsheets are in progress Wink

I still haven't tried on the MK dress, will do later (excuse is that BIL has been staying).

Mara mood rings! Ahhh the 90s, love it Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/01/2016 18:42

Amber I am! Lib will have the list. I am already worrying about what to wear, not sure if we've had such a cold MU before!

Stokey · 16/01/2016 18:56

I can't make next week.

And can also not commit to just10 things.

Interested to hear how the Lumiere is, I was thinking of taking the Dds tomorrow but it may be a bit hectic for them. Totally agree that level 3 is easier than 2. Am thinking of going from 1 to 3 as I'd finished 2 before Christmas and now gone back to 1.

Sad to hear the Revenant was so dull Lib. I decided not to go & see Joy this week as the Revenant & Room have much better reviews so thought I'd go this week instead. Looks like it's going to be Room.
I've had a chilled day, just ventured out to take Dd1 to her play teheasal ( in a freezing church!). l like to think I've rocked black high-tops, grey joggers, black polo, grey striped jumper, long cardie & Cos purple scarf & beanie, but in reality am going for comfort & warmth.

Drywhitethanks · 16/01/2016 19:37

IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!! Grin and it's coming down thick and fast and settling! I love snow Smile

Drywhitethanks · 16/01/2016 19:38

And obviously when it's snowing you look at Next online summer clothes Grin

Dreamqueen · 16/01/2016 20:15

My 10 things has already gone a bit haywire. i just bought sandals for my hols
I might have to withdraw shamefaced from the 10 challenge.

Dreamqueen · 16/01/2016 20:18

I must stop looking at shopping sites trying to cheer myself up in this cold weather.

QueenC · 16/01/2016 21:49

dream I'm the same. When dh isn't here I also find it hard to go to bed early despite being utterly exhausted. Going to do some sunday morning links a few hours early....
