Poor you QueenC, I was just thinking of you. I have been sick for the last 2 weeks and both weekends dh has just handled it in his stride. Just went downstairs and the kitchen as spotless. I know I don't cope as well when I have the kids alone. And you have 3. Don't be hard on yourself my lovely.

Lots of dresses that would be lovely for work but my self imposed work clothes ban is still holding strong.

QueenC I love the red shoes, thy're beautiful but oh so high & I'm on a self imposed high heel ban since breaking my little toe in the summer. I've embraced flats and to be honest I'm loving it. i might be dragging out my excuses as to why I don't wear heels.

Had a call from to Chanel to say my bag has been fixed so will probably pick that up on Saturday. I have missed her.

No exciting plans today - taking DC to the cinema so DH can get on with some work.

Stokey I feel bad putting you off the revenant - film choice is so personal. The cinematography was superb. It is quite 'arty' as Dry's DS said. Personally I felt it was trying to do too much - arty, dream scenes, lots of gore etc - trying to throw in a bit of 3 or 4 different genres and not quite pulling any of them off.

It is so cold here right now, currently still in pjs with my hooded house cardigan on. the cardigan is nto stylish but it's super warm so just for wearing in the flat, it's fine. oneCat is currently curled up in her bed making little snoring sounds

I had a friend many years ago who had a stunning back and I always envied her ability to wear those tops with no back to go out partying.

I love that Marni dress as well, I think I pinned it on my S/S wishlist.

I'm still in my pj's as well drinking a cup of coffee whilst the DC try and play nicely together. So I've got about 5 minutes.

Thanks for asking one, I'm doing ok. Relieved that dh is heading home today so I can sleep properly tonight. Hate being alone at night.
lib if anything changes and dh has to go back to his parents then I wont be going to dublin but as dm is around I could probably do a day trip to London instead.
Forgot to say yesterday that I picked up the dune boots and they're perfect. Not clumpy at all and look smart enough for work. Not sure I would have justified buying a full price pair of boots for for £39 I am v v pleased. Just need to wear them around the house before I walk to work in them.

I love the open back of the tom ford dress but you're buggered if you have boobs and need a bra.

Karcheer, how was Fera? DH's 40th this Saturday and it's one of the places I'm considering.

safety we really liked it! we had the full tasting menu and the rare wine matching. Food was yum and claridges has such a lovely feeling, think it would be wonderful for a birthday.

Thanks karcheer. It's there or Gymkhana at the moment, although Gymkhana is much harder to get into.
